Day 1 : Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshure

Pyramids of Giza

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza, and then you will start visiting Giza plateau where you will see the Pyramids of Cheops “Khufu”, the only remaining of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Then move on to visit Chephren, Mykerinus pyramids and 6 queen pyramids. Then move to Memphis which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was considered to be the center of rule and culture in Egypt for over 3000 years. It has now an open air museum that has the gigantic statue of Ramses II that was left unfinished and it is lying down on its back. You will also see the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis. Then proceed to Sakkara area where you will visit the step pyramid, the first pyramid ever built in Egypt. Then move on to Dahshur where you will see the red pyramid and the bent pyramid. Both pyramids were built for Senefru, the first pharaoh of the 4th dynasty. Visiting these pyramids will enable you to know the evolution of building the pyramids throughout the history. At the end of the tour, you will be back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Day 2 : Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Khan Khalili Bazaar

Our representative will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour visiting the Egyptian Museum. The museum has thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts. The cream of the crops is the collection of the boy-king Tut Ankh Amon. Then you will move to visit Salah El-Dien Citadel “the Castle of Salah El-Dien” and The alabaster mosque is the most beautiful mosque in Egypt and it was built by Mohamed Ali. The last visit it will be to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest and the biggest bazaar in the Middle East. The bazaar is known for trading gold, fine silver, perfumes, copper, brassware, leather, antiques and much more. At the end of the tour, you will be back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Day 3 : Old Cairo Coptic& Islamic

you will visit Amr Ibn Alas Mosque: It is the oldest mosque to be built not only in Egypt but also all over Africa that dates back to 642 A.C. It was reconstructed so many times over the centuries and that is why it took a shape that is totally different from its previous one. The Hanging Church It is the most recommended religious destination for both Copts and Muslims who come to visit Egypt because of its shape and size as it was built over the Babylon Fortress and that is how it gained its name. its construction dates back to the 3rd century AD. Ben Ezra Synagogue This unbelievable synagogue dates back to the 9th century and it is actually housed a former church that was constructed in the 4th century and this is exactly what makes it a truly exceptional attraction in Old Cairo. The most interesting thing about it is that it once had an old copy from the Old Testament and it is also believed that the Prophet Ezra had written it and that is not all as its site is believed to be the location where the box of Baby Moses was found and taken to the Pharaoh's wife. At the end of the tour, you will be back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

Our guide Nemo was very knowledgeable on everything from the pyramids to our last stop at the museum. It was great hearing new information about all the landmarks. He was even able to get us a camel ride and many great photos, especially at the pyramids. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody that came to Egypt.

Cleopatra Tours organized by Franco was amazing. Our driver (Hamed) and guide (Wesam) were excellent and had great knowledge of the area and history. Excellent value for the accommodations, inclusions, and guide. Optional dinner cruise on the Nile is well worth it. We also enjoyed our day trip to Alexandria with our wonderful local guide Nermin.
What an amazing experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the best of Egypt

The whole experience was amazing. It was really nice to have the guides lead us so we didn’t have to worry about anything. They ensured we were fed, they had water in the car the whole time and they made us laugh. There was 11 of us in total, so it’s never easy to travel with a lot of people but they handled our group perfectly. We got to see and do everything we wanted to do. The guides knew what day and times to visit places to avoid crowds.

We were picked up at the airport and we were taken to the hotel. Franco helped us to check in and took a look if the room was good aranged. The days in Cairo were guided through M. Doma und Essem, where we got a lenghtful explanation of the history of the city, the bildings and the art. They even helped us to make great pictures. We got tours and explanations outside the tipical tourist area, wich made the experience unique! Our questions about every little detail were answered. Doma showed us and gave us tips about Restaurants and local productors (oils, papires, jewellry). We absolutely would recomend Cleopatra Egypt Tours to our friends and aquentances. The experience in Cairo was not just good, but safe and it felt familiar. Thank you!

I want to thank the whole Cleopatra Egypt Tours for a awesome experience. Franco, Mohammed and especially Mimmo (who was an A+ Guide) took very good care of our group of 8. The things to do and food suggestions were awesome. We rode camels, and ATVs near the pyramids. Mimmo was very knowledgeable and was always a step ahead of other travel agencies when it came to being early and first in line for any restaurant or exhibits, which allowed us to have plenty of time to enjoy our experience without rushing or waiting. We received excellent service and would always recommend them.

We had an amazing time in Cairo! Our guide and driver Mohammed were unbelievably knowledgeable and took us to places we would never know about. We learned about the ancient history, culture, and current life in Egypt. We tried outstanding street food, did everything we wanted to do, and we felt very safe the whole time. I would recommend anyone who wants to go to Egypt go with Cleopatra Tours!

Everything was perfect! From airport pickup to 3 days worth of activities, everything was seamless. Massimo, Mohammed (guide), and Mohammed (driver) gave us an authentic Egyptian experience and were the ultimate professionals. Couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I went with a female friend on this tour and we had the best time!!! The tour guide, Eslam, and the driver made us feel very safe, we were surprised when it was just us two and them because of this we were able to customize our tour as we went along. Arriving early to all of the large tourist places meant we were often one of two small groups at each site. Eslam asked us what kind of travellers we were and adjusted the tour to suit our wants. We ate wonderful local food and the best fish in Alexandria. Eslam, was incredibly knowledgeable and he himself is quite well travelled too. We have travelled all over the world and this tour will rank as one of the best tours because of how well we were treated by the driver and the tour guide. CatCat!

Had a spectacular time in Cairo, Egypt for our honeymoon. Everything was taken care of and catered personally for us. Mimmo was excellent in every way and I would highly recommend getting in contact with him to have him make the best experience out of your Cairo tour. Very good intuition as a tour guide and we were able to visit all the places at optimum times, with very little crowds. Highly recommend the private tour. International travelers will not be disappointed and will be a worthwhile experience.
