Dallol
Depart from Addis Ababa and fly to Semera. Upon arrival, be picked up from the airport and drive to Semera Town for breakfast. Continue your journey to the base camp of the Dallol Depression, with a picnic lunch in Afdera Town along the way. After lunch, continue driving to Dallol. Upon arrival, stop by Lake Asale to witness the stunning sunset over the salty lake. Enjoy dinner at the camp and spend the night at the Sabba campsite, sleeping outside under the stars.

Early in the morning, drive to the colorful lands of Dallol to witness the stunning sunrise. Hike to the top to see the sulfur lakes and colorful landscapes. After the visit, return to the cars and drive to the salt mountains, where you'll have a picnic breakfast and explore the salt rock formations. Following the exploration, visit the salt workers, camel caravans (if you’re lucky), and natural potash oil springs. After the visit, start driving to Erta-Ale Volcano, with a picnic lunch on the way. Arrive at the base camp of Erta-Ale and prepare for the sunset hike to visit the volcano and the subsequent night hike back to the camp. Spend the night sleeping outside under the stars.
Drive back to Semera and fly back to Addis Ababa

Early in the morning, have another chance to see the stunning sunrise at the volcano. After the visit, return to the base camp for breakfast. After breakfast, start your journey back to Semera. Arrive in Semera for a late lunch, followed by drop-off at the airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa.

5.00The service provided was exceptional, worth a visit alone for that. Eshetu went above and beyond during my journey to Danakil Depression and also our guided tour around Addis Ababa. The scenery and history about each area was extremely interesting and every day brought something new and exiting. The value for money is great, providing great meals, unique opportunities and hospitality that you wouldn’t get anywhere else. Eshetu provided an incredible service not only on the trips, but also personally driving me to my hotel and night in Addis Ababa when my arranged transport failed to show. I would recommend this company to anyone visiting any parts of Ethiopia.

The company provided excellent service from start to finish well organized, safe, and professional. And the staff made sure we were comfortable the whole time. 5.00We have a wonderful 8 days visits to Addis Ababa, Danakil Depression and Omo Valley tribes, thanks to Ethio Top Land Tour team! The boss Lamesgn Melese and his skill driver took us on an unforgotten walks at Merkato, taste of traditional coffee and of course, the dance performances at Rod Restaurants etc. Our Guide Tamrat Atanfie accompanied us through out the remaining days up north and down south, navigating on some of the toughest road rides ever for us, and in perfect sync with local guides on tribal visits.
