Avoid the crowds as you travel in comfort between Japan’s 5 historic capitals on this scenic small group tour with an English speaking guide. See the best of Kamakura, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Nara, Kyoto and Osaka. Enjoy spectacular views of the countryside and Mt. Fuji on clear days.

Start from your hotel or port of entry in Tokyo. Follow the coast through Yokohama to Japan's old capital, Kamakura. Enjoy stopping on the way to taste the different region's specialties. Visit picturesque villages and take a ropeway and cruise near Mt. Fuji. Experience the history of Toyota and see their machines. Explore World Heritage Nara deer park and Todaiji. Visit Kyoto's Arashiyama bamboo forest, Kiyomizu temple and Fushimi Inarin shrine before arriving at Osaka's Dotonburi entertainment district.

This tour can be tailored to your interests and is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness. Feel free to add extra days in Tokyo or continue on with us to Hiroshima or back to Tokyo via the Japan Alps.

3 star hotel room: Hotels include Toyoko Inn and APA Hotel. Book well in advance to get a better room (please let us know your room preference).
Duration: 3 days: 3 very full days of touring. Activities can be tailored to your interests before the tour starts.
Breakfast
Tokyo or Narita to Kyoto: Tokyo or Narita - Kamakura -Hakone - Mt. Fuji- Shizuoka - Nagoya - Nara - Kyoto.
5-14 seater car or van: Vehicle used changes with group size. Please let us know if you need space for more than 1 suitcase per person.

It was our first time in Japan and I wanted to see as much country side as possible along with major tourist attractions. I was keen on learning about culture as well. I came across this tour in viator and reached out to tour company before buying. Matt replied all my questions with all the details which helped us in our decision. I think this was the best decision we made for our trip. It was us and other family of 3 from California and we thoroughly enjoyed tour and the company. Language (English) is not an issue with Matt because he’s from Australia but has been living in Japan. His knowledge about Japanese culture in depth is excellent. If you’re visiting Japan and would like to see country side along with main attractions, I strongly recommend taking this tour !!
