Boat Cruise The boat cruise on the Nile River in Murchison Falls. it takes you upstream toward the base of Murchison Falls, offering close-up views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalo, and various bird species like the African fish eagle and the rare shoebill stork. The cruise typically lasts 2–3 hours Game drives in the park are done in open-roof safari vehicles, usually early morning or late afternoon when animals are most active. These drives take you through savannah grasslands, where you can spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, and various antelope species. The Buligi Peninsula is one of the best areas for wildlife viewing due to its rich biodiversity. Top of Murchison Falls gives you a dramatic view of the Nile River as it forces its way through a narrow 7-meter gorge before plunging down 43 meters. You can walk along a trail to view the falls from multiple vantage points, feel the spray, and hear the thunderous roar of the water — a powerful

My visit to Murchison Falls was an unforgettable adventure filled with breathtaking natural beauty. As we approached the park, the vast savannah stretched endlessly, dotted with elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes grazing peacefully. The highlight of the trip was the boat cruise along the Nile River, where we saw hippos lounging in the water and crocodiles basking on the riverbanks. The sight of the mighty falls was truly awe-inspiring the Nile squeezed through a narrow gorge and thundered down with incredible force, creating a powerful mist that rose into the air. Standing at the top of the falls, I could feel the ground tremble beneath my feet and hear the roaring water echo through the cliffs. The cool breeze and stunning view made the moment magical. My visit to Murchison Falls left me with lasting memories of Uganda’s wild beauty and the raw power of nature.
