Laguna Colorada
We'll pick you up from your accommodation and depart in a minibus from San Pedro de Atacama to the border between Chile and Bolivia. After visiting the border offices and completing the necessary formalities, we'll transfer to a 6-seater 4x4. On this first day, we'll visit sites on the Bolivian Altiplano, such as Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde, located at the foot of the Licancabur volcano. We'll continue our journey to the Salvador Dalí Desert and the Polques hot springs, where we'll have some time for a soak. We'll also visit the Sol de Mañana geysers, intermittent springs of water that erupt at 90°C. Finally, we'll visit Laguna Colorada, a nesting ground for over 30,000 flamingos. Tonight, you'll stay in a hostel in Villamar, with double, triple, or quadruple rooms and private bathrooms.
Valle De Rocas
We visited Valle de Rocas, the World Cup, and Italia Perdida, a place where volcanic rock has taken the shape of what appears to be an abandoned city. Then we visited El Camello and Sora, where you can see local wildlife. We continued to Laguna Misteriosa (or Catal), where you can walk and observe the typical flora and fauna of the Bolivian Altiplano, Laguna Vinto, and Mirador; and Cañon de la Anaconda. At the end of the day, we transferred to the Salt Hotel in Colcha K, with double, triple, or quadruple rooms and private bathrooms, where we spent the second night.
Salar de Uyuni
Early in the morning, we'll take our vehicle to the salt flats, just like on the third day of the Salar de Uyuni tour (4 days). We'll watch the sunrise over the white expanse of salt before heading to Incahuasi Island. Here, we'll take a short walk across this limestone rock formation, which is home to giant cacti and offers a great view of the salt flats. Afterward, we'll visit the Salt Museum and leave the salt flats via the town of Colchani, where we'll stop to buy handicrafts. Then, we'll pass by the train cemetery for some photos before arriving in Uyuni, where our tour concludes.
