Bishkek
In the morning you’ll be picked up from a hotel to start your exciting tour. We’ll head towards Burana Tower to the small town of Tokmok (80km from Bishkek). You will drive along the border with Kazakhstan and, if the weather is clear, you will see the beautiful scenery of the Tien Shan mountains. Tokmak was the second largest industrial city in Kyrgyzstan during the Soviet times, and you can see some of the Soviet monuments while driving through the city. Then you will pass through several small but picturesque villages, and you will be able to see the life of the locals outside the capital.
Burana Tower and Konorchek Canyon
Your guide will show you the mausoleums and other buildings discovered by archaeologists during excavations, you will have a chance to climb to the top of the ancient tower, where there is a beautiful view of the Chui valley and the Tien-Shan mountains open. Visit the small museum, which presents various archaeological artifacts, as well as an open-air museum, which contains ancient gravestones, rock drawings, and other interesting historical objects found on the territory of our country.
Boom Gorge
The Boom gorge is the connecting link between Chui valley and Yssyk-Kul lake. In the gorge flows one of the largest rivers of Tien-Shan – Chu. The river broke this large and picturesque gorge among the mountains. Boom is characterized by a variety of landscapes. Wooded and green slopes, covered with trees and shrubs, are suddenly replaced by drained clay canyons. The complex relief of the gorge is also noteworthy: narrow and winding in the western part, it widens considerably in the eastern part, forming a wide valley. It will be our stop for the lunch at one of the restaurants. National puff cakes with soar cream and tea boiled in russian samovar with unique taste.
It is well known that Kyrgyzstan is the birthplace of eagle hunting! The Berkutchi (eagle’s owner) will share all his knowledge with you about eagles and hunting. He will introduce you to his own eagle and you will have an opportunity to ask him questions and take pictures with the Golden Eagle itself. It will be followed by a live Eagle Hunting Show: Flying, catching prey, and hunting. Last but not at least, he will demonstrate Kyrgyz archery and taigan dogs hunting. Golden Eagle and taigan dogs combined can fight back even the wolf.

Start the second day with breakfast in the yurt and start our drive to our next destination - Skazka Canyon.
Canyon Skazka
The canyon was named due to its bizarre rocky landscape, which for many years has been transformed by wind into fabulous sculptures and formations. Some formations in "Skazka" have been named for their similarity to well-known objects. For example, one set of ridges in the canyon is named "The Chinese Wall" due to its similarity to the Great Wall of China. You can also find what appear to be statues of a hippopotamus, snake, dragon, sleeping giant, and even whole castles. Because the different rocks have amazing colors, the rocky statues not only have unusual shapes, but also magical colors.
Barskoon
Barskoon Valley is one of the most magnificent valleys in Kyrgyzstan with high mountains, waterfalls, and thick spruce forests nearby the southern shore of Yssyk-Kyl lake. Inside the valley, there is an impressive chain of Barskoon waterfalls. There are 3 waterfalls available to visit at different elevations. We will visit all or one of them as per preference. At the foot of the route, the river from waterfalls joins the Barskoon river bringing there very clean water from the high mountain areas.
Jeti-Oguz Canyon (Seven Bulls Rocks)
Jeti-Oguz Canyon (Seven Bulls Rocks) is one of the most famous landmarks of Kyrgyzstan, made up of several impressive natural sandstone formations. It is featured in many poems and paintings, as well as music videos. Part of the canyon resembles seven bulls, hence its name; another formation nearby is called “broken heart." We will make a stop at Seven Bulls and continue going inside the Jeti-Oguz Valley. Rising higher, we reach the pan of Kok-Dzhayyk with wonderful views of the gorge, or the Valley of Flowers strewn with poppies.
Karakol
After a long day, the best thing that will help us relax will be natural hot springs surrounded by mountains. After, have dinner in a very good restaurant and overnight in 3 star hotel.

Grigoryevka
Grigoriev Gorge (Chon Aksu) is one of the most famous and beautiful sights of Issyk-Kul Lake. Enjoying the beauty of the mountain slopes, covered with red poppy and the sound of mountain water, here you can also see beautiful Tien-Shan spruce. Here you can taste the Kyrgyz national cuisine in one of the yurts, as well as get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the nomadic Kyrgyz people. Horse lovers can ride on horseback, enjoying the beauty of the mountain landscape. Here you can also listen to folk music, and drink kumys, in general, to feel the full flavor of the Kyrgyz atmosphere. Green mountain slopes covered with beautiful poppies, mountain rivers with crystal clear water, picturesque mountain landscapes, all this certainly will leave you the most unforgettable impression.

Cholpon Ata
The highlight of the tour - enjoy the second alpine lake in the world on a boat. You will be inspired by the captivating view of the lake surrounded by snowy mountains of Tian Shan. For swimming fans, there will be a short break when they can submerge into cool and transparent water (safety vests are provided). After this gorgeous experience, we’re heading to another fancy place - the spiritual center Rukh Ordo. It is not just a museum or a park, it is a place that combines religions and cultures of different nations and different times.

Our 3-day tour around Issyk-Kul Lake with Datka Travel was absolutely unforgettable! The itinerary was perfectly planned — a wonderful mix of adventure, nature, and authentic Kyrgyz culture. We enjoyed horseback riding through scenic valleys, swimming in the crystal-clear waters of Issyk-Kul Lake, and even a relaxing boat ride surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. The stops at local gorges and waterfalls were equally amazing — each spot more picturesque than the last. The highlight was our overnight stay in a traditional yurt camp, where we experienced genuine Kyrgyz hospitality and tasted delicious homemade food. Watching the eagle hunting show was another unforgettable moment — witnessing this ancient nomadic tradition up close was both thrilling and educational. Our guide was outstanding — knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about his country. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and we always felt safe, comfortable, and inspired. Thank you, Datka Travel, for giving us such a rich and memorable experience. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyrgyzstan who wants to explore nature, adventure, and culture all in one trip!

Our tour around Issyk Kul was incredible, thanks mostly to Urmat and Datka Travel. Firstly, the itinerary of the tour is stacked - so much to see and do in such a short period of time - but it never felt rushed. Urmat (our guide, who spoke perfect English, and has lived all over the world) ensured that we were at busy touristic destinations before the crowds, and occasionally made changes to the itinerary to better suit our needs, for example planning ahead for some of the people in our group who are vegetarian. Each part of the tour had a personal connection to Urmat, and he seemed to be well known/ well liked whenever we stopped. Secondly, the tour itself was incredible. Every part of the package was high quality, from the choice of restaurants, to the Yurt camp, to the hotel in Karakol. The horse trek was an obvious highlight; although not having ridden horses before, we ended up confident riders, and felt we were in safe hands for the experience. Overall, the tour was an extremely memorable experience, and I can't imagine a better tour than this.

We had a great time in Kyrgyzstan, our guide Anvar was awesome and took care of us well. The communication via whatsapp with the agents was also very quick and easy. If you are intending to visit Charyn canyon in Kazhkstan, I wouldn't recommend this specifc tour, do Song Kul instead as the canyons around the lake are quite same same. The eagle hunter demonstration was fantastic and super cool. Whichever tour you choose, Dakta is well regarded.

I went by myself on this 3-day tour and was joined by a guide, the driver, plus two other travellers. The car was spacious and well-equipped for the road, the guide knowledgeable with a pleasant personality. The tour was well-organized - not too tiring, not too boring, with a right balance of activities.
