  One word for this trip to the black and white desert: THANK YOU MOHAMED!! We booked a stay of 3 days and 3 nights, directly with Mohamed, by contacting him directly, we are a family from 24 to 79 years (daughter, parents, and grandparents), Mohamed took care of the transfers before and after our stay with him, he received us all 5 in his house where we felt immediately at ease. He is incredibly kind, friendly and caring to all of us. His cooking is delicious. We then left in the desert in 4x4 with his team who took great care of us, Redda, Alla, and Amr ... the desert has no secrets for them, they are on their territory, and know every corner of it, we always felt safe and pampered, while respecting our privacy. Everything is planned, we just have to relax and enjoy these incredible places of beauty... we have already visited other deserts, but these 2 are really exceptional, breathtaking landscapes, really!! And what makes the difference is the team that accompanied us, benevolent and adorable desert experts who manage everything from A to Z, who cook wonderfully well, from breakfast, to lunch and dinner, campfire in the evening (a little fenec came to visit us 🦊 too cute!!) . Sleeping under this bedouin tent is top and comfortable, every day they get us magical and quiet spots, far from the anthill of tourists who are always in the same places, because passed by a classic and impersonal agency. Our 2 drivers master driving in the sand dunes, we feasted everything is done to make you spend an authentic and magical stay, really unforgettable!! AT ALL LEVELS!! We really loved our stay with Mohamed and his team, it's so nice to feel totally confident and let yourself be carried away by trusted people!! As I read on other reviews, this is for us our best memory of Egypt 💞 Thank you Mohamed for being who you are, a beautiful person, and for sharing your beautiful region!! • Beautiful stay in the Egyptian white and black deserts

  I went with my companion for a 4 days / 3 nights stay in the white and black deserts in April 2026. Everything was perfect! I recommend without hesitation Mohamed and his associate Amr with whom we spent magical moments! Mohamed is a very friendly person, a very good cook and an excellent driver. He knows the desert like his pocket and knows how to find the best places to spend the night. He was able to adapt to our desires and respect our tranquility in complete discretion. If you are a lonely girl, you will feel safe. Finally, I would add that even if Mohamed does not speak French, we have never had any problem understanding each other (even if it means using the translator when necessary). We must therefore not hesitate to call on him, even if we do not speak good English. Thank you Mohamed a thousand times for this wonderful stay!!!

  We spent 3 days in the desert with Mohamed in February 2026 and it was the best part of our trip to Egypt. It is 3 days out of time, discovering beautiful landscapes straight out of film. Mohamed is a perfect guide, he is very caring and will do everything to ensure that you have the best possible stay at these sides. He knows the desert like no one, cooks extremely well, will take the best pictures of your trip, and we took great pleasure in getting to know him. Exchanges are done in English very easily, we had no worries to understand each other. The experience of sleeping in a tent alone in the middle of the desert is just magical. If you are lucky you may even meet a fenek friend! We were a group of 4 friends, and we felt safe all along.I can only recommend this expedition,you can trust Mohamed with your eyes closed!

We just returned from an incredible journey with Mohamed Badawy and his team at White Desert Tour Egypt, and we can't recommend them highly enough! As a Canadian family, we were looking for a tour operator who would not only show us the beauty of Egypt but also make us feel comfortable and welcome—and Mohamed exceeded all expectations.   Excellent stay in the white desert our best memory of Egypt. The sites are amazing. The team that accompanied us whose Mohàmed was perfect. They took care of everything, the meals are fresh and very good. The sleeping facilities were great. The sleeping bags of real warm soft toys for awesome starry nights.   We had an unforgettable stay of 4 days and 3 nights in the white desert with Mohamed. We were taken care of in Cairo for the Baharya Oasis. Our final destination was Luxor. We will never forget the kindness, the professionalism of Mohamed who was incredible. He took care of everything. We slept in the tent: campfire, incredible sunset and sunrise, unforgettable sky vault, shooting stars, little fennec that came to greet us, meal prepared on site and tasty, hearty, we were alone in the world in this space worthy of the Little Prince. This is really the part of our trip we liked the most. We highly recommend Mohamed. You will not be disappointed!

  I booked the tour with Mohammad for myself and 3 friends. He was fantastic in all aspects of organizing the tour to the execution. The tour in the desert is magical, I recommend adding it to your bucket list of adventures. The camping experience (ditch the tent) looking up at the stars was incredible. Mohammad makes amazing meals, you will not go hungry. We also spent a day roaming around the Bahariya Oasis with him, having tea with locals, 4x4 ing thru dunes, visiting roman ruins and of course, seeing the roman mummies.

  I went to the desert with my brother in the company of Mohammed after looking for different opinions. I must say that I was not disappointed at all. On the contrary. Mohammed masters his subject perfectly, as well as the environment, hidden and sublime corners, as his 4x4 in the dunes. He took us to places more magical than each other, far away from other tourists elsewhere. He was very kind and helpful. Not to mention his cooking skills.   It is my turn to post a very positive review of Mohamed's services. We had booked our 3-day, 2-night tour with him, following the very positive feedback we had read about his guiding experience. We do not regret our choice. Despite our approximate English, he was very patient, adapted. Everything was perfect. Mohamed is an excellent driver and guide. We feel very quickly that it seeks to make us live a unique experience. It adapts very well to the people it accompanies. He is very considerate, helpful, generous and kind. Very flexible in its organization, it stops whenever you want, for a break or a photo. It takes you on a tour that other guides may not take the time to show you around. He really wants to make your stay a wonderful memory. After a tiring stop in Luxor, where we were tested by the contacts with the locals, we have the feeling that with Mohamed, we were able to understand the real state of mind of the Egyptians (generous welcome and kindness). For example, we left with 3 kg of dates and packs of hibiscus flowers from his home, because I explained that I wanted to buy some for my family. Nothing to do, he didn't want us to pay him. Moreover, the camp is super and well organized: from the choice of location, through the quality cuisine, small and large attentions, the barbecue on wood fire, Bedouin tea, etc. We were unable to enjoy the stars and sunrises and sunsets due to cloudy and windy weather. Maybe some other time? Because if we come back, we'll call on him. We regret only one thing: our approximate English which prevented us from having more in-depth exchanges. Because Mohamed is a very open man 🙂 With Mohamed and his friend Ahmar, we spent 2 wonderful days. The driver who brought us and drove us back to Cairo was also very kind and punctual. And finally, we think that his rates, given his experience are more than reasonable. For 3 days and 2 nights, transfers included, we paid 420€ for 2. If you want to take a trip to the Egyptian deserts, call on him, he also organizes trips to the Siwa Oasis (among others)
