Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark
On this first day we drive just over 150 kilometers to the town of Dong Van. The first stop is Heaven’s Gate at 1500 meters high with beautiful views over the mountains. A little bit lower down the pass there is another stop at a viewpoint with a view on the famous twin mountains. One of the places where you definitely want to stop during this part of the loop is the photogenic Tham Ma Pass. Before you are at Dong Van there is at least one more stop and that is at the HMong King Palace (Vuong Palace). This palace was built for the king of the Hmong minority. Depending on the amount of stops you will be at Dong Van at around 17:00 (5 PM). Check in to your homestay or hotel. After dinner you could visit the small but beautiful looking Old Quarter of this town.

You come the absolute highlight of the Ha Giang Loop tour for many travelers: the Ma Pi Leng Pass. The absolute king of all mountain passes in Vietnam, with steep cliffs and epic views. From now on the landscape changes a bit. You will start to see more and more rice fields, including terraced rice fields. Then you will continue to Du Gia village, a few kilometers from the village is a waterfall that you can walk to. There is a natural pool where you can cool off and there are rocks that you can jump off.

In your last day of the Ha Giang Loop tour we have to head back to our starting point Ha Giang City to complete the loop. But not before you enjoy many more beautiful views and drive through many minority villages on this day. At 16:00, we will be back in Ha Giang

5.00Adorable drivers, very careful and good drivers. Not all speak English, it if you want an English speaker you need to specify it when booking. Beautiful landscapes and roads, fun activities. Great experience, we recommend!

5.00I highly recommend this body! Our drivers were very competent and friendly! The hostels were very good and always in small groups (no dormitories with more than 18 places and they were never 100% full). The meals are also very good! It is a 5/5 on all points.

5.00Absolutely stunning and Tien was a great guide. He and his riders ensured we had a brilliant time. The riders were all very safe and lovely people. Evenings were a great time to socialise and relax and partake in happy water drinking if you're so inclined!

5.00All right! We met some French people who recommended the experience, so we decided to do the same tour and we did well! We are very delighted, it was beautiful, even if there was bad weather in February, at least, there were fewer tourists ❤️ the views are fantastic, still try to do it when there is no rain! Highlight for the boat I loved ⛴️ My driver was Luat, I felt safe and not afraid, even if the roads were sometimes winding!

5.00Formula 4 days/3 nights. Thank you to Tien and his team for a great stay. Everything is perfectly organized, super easy and responsive WhatsApp communication. The drivers are adorable, caring and ready for karaoke in the evening:-). The circuit is well thought out. The strength of this “agency” is the small group (compared to others), we were 12 French in a great atmosphere. Despite the physical pain of the bike:-) this stay will be among my best memories. Tips: go to their insta page for more photos/videos.
