Marrakech 3 days 2 nights desert tour departs from Marrakech end in Fez is our most popular desert tour. This tour has been designed for the traveler eager to explore deep into the Morocco Sahara desert and who don’t mind driving long hours. You will have an amazing time touring the Desert and Merzouga, you will definitely not feel a drop of boredom. The landscape changes dramatically. Beginning with the fertile Haouz planes of Marrakech and the high Atlas Mountains, to oases and valleys, then to the rocky plateaus and the unbelievable Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Just make sure you bring your camera because you’ll see sites you’ve never seen before; sites you simply couldn’t imagine in your wildest dreams!

Pick up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 8 a.m., and depart to the High Atlas, a subrange of Moroccan Atlas Mountains, going through Tizi N´Tichka pass with stops for panoramic views and taking pictures of the Berber small villages that camouflage in the landscape

Then we continue south to the ksar (fortified village) of Aït Ben Haddou where we will visit the famous Kasbah (declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986). Famous films have been shot in this spectacular stage, including Gladiator, Obelix, The Mummy, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara with Penelope Cruz…etc. Free time for lunch in town
Taourirt Kasbah
Then we continue to Ouarzazate also known as “The gate of the desert” that in the Berber language means “noiseless or without confusion”. Here we´ll see the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most spectacular ksars in Morocco
Vallee Des Roses
The next site to visit is the Rose Valley going through the big Skoura palm grove, a beautiful place to contemplate more than 700.000 palms and numerous kasbahs that are built in the surrounding area. In this Valley damascenes, roses are raised for cosmetic use such as the valued rosewater. The Rose Festival is held here annually in May, it is an important mousse for Moroccan culture.
Finally, we reach the Dades valley where we´ll spend the night

After breakfast in the hotel, drive back through the valley to see the amazing rock formation “the monkey toes”, and the still-standing 19thcentury Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinrghir
after some stops on the way, we´ll reach the Todra Gorges. The scenery is spectacular. At the Gorge, you’ll walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many rock-climbers come to enjoy their preferred sport. Local people live in the area and can be seen in their adobe villages.

After a short walk in the Todra gorges continuing our trip to Erfoud and Rissani where we’ll have lunch and afterward we’ll leave for the village of Merzouga
Merzouga Desert
In the afternoon you will have a camel ride, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore inside the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you’ll spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night. Overnight in a desert camp.

Very early in the morning, we have a “Date with the sunrise”. In the middle of the desert, waking up early is a “must-do” to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you´ve ever seen at the top of a dune close to the camp. After having breakfast, we return to Merzouga on the camels and we start our trip to the north, through the Tafilalet palm grove, the biggest in the world. You´ll see thousands of palm trees along the 20km of road
Midelt
This way leads us to the Ziz valley, which river comes down from the high Atlas and feeds the palm grove. Here we make a stop and from this high viewpoint, enjoy a magnificent view of the valley and the town of Aoufous. We make another stop in Midelt, just in the heart of the Atlas where you´ll have free time for lunch and rest for a while.
Azrou Cedar Forest
In the afternoon we continue our way through the Cedar forest where, if we are lucky, we´ll see some monkeys.
Ifrane
The next place we´ll visit is the city of Ifrane, situated in the northwestern slope of the Middle Atlas at 1630 meters above the water level. Its broad avenues, its urban development with perfect cleanness, the gardens, the green areas, and its architecture make this city look like a Swiss town. Ifrane feels misplaced in Morocco. That's why it´s named Moroccan Switzerland, and if that´s not enough it has an important ski resort, Michlifen
Fes el-Bali
At about 6 pm we arrive at Fes. The driver will drop you off in your hotel/riad or any other preferable place and this is the end of our services.

5.00Me and a group of 5 friends embarked on a 3 day, 2 night adventure from Marrakech to the Sahara desert and then onto Fez. We researched many different companies but this one drew our eye with great reviews and we were not disappointed at all. Our driver and tour guide, Abderrazak, was professional, patient and very friendly. During our long drives, he would make calculated restroom stops at the cleanest gas stations, and would take us to the best restaurants along the way. The vehicle comfortably fit 6 people, offered WIFI, AC and enough space for 6 small suitcases and backpacks. The only downside is that we wished we could have tacked on an extra day to see more of the desert! Before setting off on our journey, Abdelhadi was our contact who helped personalize our tour. He managed to accommodate all our requests from our wish lists including glamping out in the Saraha (with camel rides), buying Moroccan rugs from locals, and stopping off at unbelievable scenic spots offering the most beautiful views of natural rock formations etched into mountains for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend these folks and will book with them again when we return back to Morrocco!

5.00My experience was fantastic! I went with Aissam from Gboo Morocoo Tours. He was very kind, relatable and always professional. He took us around Marakesh and he made us feel comfortable right away. His knowledge on the city was great to hear as well as we got to learn more about the history of the city and Morocoo as well. Overall Aissam was a fantastic tour guide and I would highly recommend anyone who is thinking about visiting Morocoo to book with him!

5.00Thank you to Gboo, I had the most magical experience in Morroco. I asked them to customize our trip and they chose a great itinerary for us. We started from Marrakech and drove all the way up into the Atlas Mountains. Stayed there for a night and then went to the Sahara desert on camels. At first, the thought of spending the night in the desert was daunting, but when we reached our spot to watch the sunset, the splendor and the vastness of the desert awed us. It was totally magical. After spending a night in a beautiful tent, (the food could be better there), we had breakfast and then left for Fes and Rabat. Fez is beautiful, but people are not as friendly as they are in other parts of Morocco. The Berbers the Amazigh will win your hearts with their genuine desire to please tourists and treat them as God-sent guests. I was looking for a spiritual experience in Fes but didn't find anything that uplifted my spirits into a trance.. but our guide and driver took me to the synagogue and Jewish quarters which was beautiful. GBoo travels are the best but what made it amazing was our guide-Salim who is most knowledgeable about his country and heritage that it was a pleasure to go with him. We can't thank him enough and highly recommend him. Morocco is on my best places to visit list! I love it- for me, the best thing was to be in a Muslim country, not a rich first-world country, and find every public bathroom I used was super clean. I hope this sense of cleanliness comes to other countries! You don't have to cover and you can pretty much wear what you wear in America- tourists can buy alcohol- and most people speak English- Uber is not reliable- I recommend calling GBoo for the amazing tours they have- all are Awesome! 5.00I contacted Gboo Morocco Tours for a 3 days desert tour from Marrakesh to Fes, we was a bit scared as we where 4 girls its our first time in Africa but it was a life time experience, Our driver/guide Hamid pick us up from our hotel in Marrakesh and we drove the atlas mountains we slept the first night in bomalen dades the next day we visit Todra gorges, but the highlight of this tour was the desert, they book for us in a luxury desert camp which was a room of 5 stars hotels the dinner was very tasty as well as the breakfast, the last day we drove from the Sahara desert to Fes we get the chance to see the monkeys on the forest of Azrou Shukran

5.00Everything was perfect thanks to Abdel and Dimitra who organized this tour special for us. We made a tour from Marrakesh to Fez via the Sahara desert. This part of Morocco is the best in my opinion. Berber villages, mountains, mud-brick villages, oases, and of course the spectacular desert. The first night we stayed in a village in the Atlas mountains in a cozy traditional hotel and the second night in an amazing luxury camp in the dunes of Sahara. Also, our driver was

5.00This was one of our most unforgettable experiences in all the traveling we have done. You MUST do a private tour, it’s the only way. Our tour guide Rabia for trip was such an amazing guy! He took care of us far exceeding our expectations! I told Rabia it was my wife’s birthday the night of our Desert camping and he surprised her with a cake, candles, and a song at dinner making our trip extra special. Such an awesome gesture. Above and beyond! Our favorite experience in Morocco! Definitely do it and do it with Gboo Tours, as they were extremely helpful. 100% Next tim we may do a longer guided tour!
