3 Days Amazing Ghandruk, Pothana Trek From Pokhara is one of the popular destinations in the Annapurna region, Ghandruk. The beautiful village of Ghandruk is located in western Nepal and inhabited by Gurung community. Spectacular panorama of the Himalayan in the Annapurna can be spotted from Ghandruk such as Annapurna south, Ganagapurna, Annapurna lll, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchrre. There is also an old Gurung muesum at the village. The trek is ideal for anyone who is looking into shortwe hikes around Pokhara with easy trekking trails and no difficult ascends/ descend.Ghandruk is atown and village development committee in kaski district in the gandaki zone of northern-central Nepal. The village is a major recruitment centre for the famous Gurkha soldiers and is a hub of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project, which promote many varied ecological projects.

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul by Car (1 hrs 30 min). Trekking start from Nayapul ascending upto Ghandruk, en-route witness majestic views of Annapurna range, Manaslu and other mountains. In Ghandruk, visit the Gurung muesum. You can spot different mountains from Ghandruk like Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna ll, Himchuli and Fishtail. Overnight stay in Ghandruk Guest House.

Early in the morning, enjoy the sunrise over the mountains as the first ray of the sun hit the himalayas from Beautiful Typical Nepali Village.Breakfast at Guest House then we trek to Pothana. At first you will have to descend down to Modi khola then start climbing up to Landruk village. The trail passes through paddy field and reaches Deurali. Trekking further will arrive at Pothana. Overnight at Pothana Guest House.

Spent some time at Pothana. Pothana is on a ridge and offers great views of Annapurna massif, Fishtail and other mountains. The trek then begins to Phedi en-route , witness some good views of the Himalayas and lush green forests. From Phedi drive to Pokhara by Car.

5.00We start our tour from Pokhara at 9am by scorpio jeep with my family 4person ,reached nayapool / Birethati at around 10.30am have take tea break 1/2 hour than proceed by jeep towards ghandruk upward height in mountain routes near about 1 hr than reached near to Ghandruk 1/2 hour trekking on foot than finally reach the beautiful Typical Nepali Gurung comunity mountain net & clean Ghandruk village with North face a tremendous Annapurna , Fishtail & Dhauligiri sceneries. It was really amazing trip in my life with very near Nature/ culture and warm hospitality of the Gurung Comunity .Next morning enjoyed the whole range of mountain with full snow around the hills . The same day we reached top of the Ghandruk hills see temple and view point , its memorable.
