After breakfast, our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha for a direct drive to the Serengeti for an amazing game drive exploring large herds of wildebeests and other wildlife including the Big Five. You will do a short stop for a hot lunch before continuing with your spectacular game drive. Serengeti National Park stands as a true marvel of nature, celebrated for its awe-inspiring spectacle of migrating herds including zebras, antelopes, and wildebeest. On this day, you will get a chance to have a full-day game drive. As Serengeti is known for the largest animal movement on planet Earth with more than 1.7 million wildebeests, 500,000 zebras, and 200,000 antelopes migrating. After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro for the game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and in the afternoon, drive to the Airport/Hotel for drop-off. The jewel in Ngorongoro crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area, the Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.
