Paucartambo
We leave Cusco at 5:00 am in the morning in our private car adapted for the route with mountains and jungle, during the trip we will pass many places of tourist attraction such as: Ninamarca Which is a pre-Inca construction of the Lupaca culture, then we will be passing through the Paucartambo valley and the town of Paucartambo, known as the folklore capital of Peru, then we will arrive at the Ajanaco pass, which is the beginning of the Manu National Park and we stop there to register. From this point we will descend to the Amazon jungle; passing through a beautiful cloud forest. In this area we will take short walks to see exotic birds of the cloud forest, especially the national bird of Peru, the cock of the rock, toucans, tanagers and mammals such as monkeys and coaties, with good luck sloth and spectacled bear, and a great variety of flowers and orchids, Arriving at the Lodge in the afternoon. Parque Nacional Del Manu
This day we left the Lodge very early and headed towards the Atalaya. Here we take the canoe and travel down the Madre de Dios River to the parrot clay lick that is located on the river bank. Here we can see macaws and parrots eating clay in macaws clay lick. Then we will go to Machuwasi Lake and explore this lake on balsa rafts in search of the Capybara ( the largest rodent in the world), Caimans, monkeys, water birds that live in Amazonian lakes. Then we will return by boat to the Eco Manu Lodge which is located near Atalaya. and In the afternoon we explore the jungle in search of more monkeys, birds, medicinal plants and at night before diner we will look for nocturnal wildlife such as: spiders, tarantulas, frogs, snakes, Caiman, night monkeys and many insects. This day after our breakfast we returned by canoe to Atalaya and from there we took our car back to the hummingbird garden to appreciate different types of hummingbirds of all sizes and colors. And from this point we return in our private car to Cusco, ending the trip arriving in Cusco approximately 5pm. B.L.

5.00We did the 3-day / 2-night Manú national park tour with Green Amazon Tours Peru. It was an amazing experience and I would suggest everyone to do this trip if they have time to spare in Cusco. Our tour guide was Alex and he was the reason that the tour was so great. Clear communication from the beginning, forthcoming and helpful. After being picked up from the hotel, we started our journey to the jungle. Along the way we stopped multiple times for animal watching and Alex's incredible ability at spotting animals made this trip unforgettable. We saw so many amazing animals throughout this trip hidden in the trees and bushes of the jungle. With the help of Alex's telescope we saw the animals up close and could take amazing pictures with our smartphones. You have the real jungle experience sleeping in lodges close to nature, which is an experience I never had before (you have running water and WiFi!). The boat trip was our highlight and the hike through the jungle was perfect. Alex was very knowledgeable and was eager to share his knowledge with us. Also the night and morning hikes were super cool and allowed us to see night active animals. Moreover, you can enjoy local, typical and tasty food throughout the trip. We felt really taken care of and will recommend this trip to anyone of our friends!

5.00What an amazing experience and a complete must if you are visiting Peru! We went for the 2 nights 3 days tour. As we were the only 2 out of 6 people doing this tour we did the first day and next morning with the full group with tour guides Alex and Raul. We also had a chef Javier who made amazing food for us all! It was the best food we’d had through our whole trip. They made sure we had all the essentials to be comfortable and safe including raincoats, water, wellies etc! The driver was great with the rough terrain and took us everywhere we needed to go. A major highlight in the second morning was having breakfast riverside after taking an exciting boat ride where we saw a family of Capybaras! We seperated from the group after the 2nd day breakfast and went with Raul who is an AMAZING guide. His knowledge and skill at finding spots to see exotic birds, monkeys, bats made our experience truly unforgettable. Raul was kind, funny and full of knowledge and by the end of the tour he felt like a true friend as well as an amazing guide. We stayed in 2 lodges, in particular the second Guadalupe lodge was great, sleeping with the full noise of the jungle is something we’ll always remember happily! The second chef Americo was also amazing and our breakfast of pancakes, eggs and fresh fruit was delicious. We couldn’t of asked for a better experience, Alex is incredibly knowledgable and a great organiser making sure we saw everything worth seeing and kept us happy the entire time. Special thanks to Raul for his hard work in making our special memories of the jungle, he truly went out of his way and didn’t hesitate to stop at any time he thought there may be a chance we could see amazing wildlife. We would recommend this company 100%, they felt truly like a family orientated company and we loved that aspect. Thank you Green Amazon Tours Peru!

5.00An amazing experience in the Amazon of Peru 🌿🐒 We spent 3 unforgettable days surrounded by nature and animals, learning a lot thanks to Alex’s professionalism and kindness. Everything was very well organized: comfortable accommodations, delicious food and routes designed to make the most of every moment. A spectacular trip for nature lovers. Highly recommended!

5.00We booked a 3D/2N tour. We had a great trip and saw lots of animals! Alex was great and able to tell and explain a lot about life and animals in the jungle! Accommodations were basic but clean and you could enjoy the jungle noises while falling asleep. Food was great, they took great care of our dietary request (vegan). The driver took us everywhere we needed to go, he knew all the roads and got us to our destinations with the greatest care.

5.00We have done a 7-day tour with the whole family and we were lucky to have an excellent guide Alex, who with gull eyes detected many animals and shared his great knowledge about the jungle. Tmb we were lucky with the cook who prepared very rich food and with the boat team who took us safely and carefully along the river currents. Sometimes among so many programs we lacked the time to contemplate and enjoy the beauty of the jungle. But overall we came back with a heart full of this wonderful experience and felt very grateful.
