Discovering Cusco's Inca Heartbeat

Our adventure commences in the heart of Cusco, at the Plaza de Armas. Here, history reverberates with the legacies of Spanish conquistadors and Inca ancestors alike. Encircled by magnificent colonial architecture, this vibrant square provides an ideal launching pad for our exploration.
We explore the sacred Temple of the Sun (Qorikancha), where the meticulous craftsmanship of Inca stonework will inspire awe. This revered location provides insight into the spiritual rituals and architectural brilliance of the ancient Incas.
Sacsayhuaman
The tour proceeds to Sacsayhuaman, a symbol of the incredible engineering achievements of the Inca civilization. Situated high above Cusco, Sacsayhuaman provides stunning panoramic vistas. Visitors have the opportunity to interact with the massive stones that have endured through the ages.
Q'enqo
We will additionally visit the mystical sites of Qenqo.
Puka Pukara
Then we will visit Puca Pucara, known as the "Red Fortress," is an ancient Inca archaeological site near Cusco, Peru. Perched on a hilltop, it served as a military outpost and administrative center.
Tambomachay
Tambomachay, the "Inca Baths," near Cusco, features remarkable water features and stone structures of ritual significance. These ancient ruins offer deeper insights into the sophisticated Inca civilization and their harmonious connection with nature.

Moray
Our adventure leads us to Moray, an archaeological wonder, where we'll explore the history and purpose of its intriguing terraced circular depressions.
Maras
Next, we journey to the Maras Salt Mines, a breathtaking sight of salt pans that have been in use since the time of the Inca civilization.
Urubamba
Lunch will be a delightful affair at restaurant in Urubamba, where we'll indulge in a buffet featuring a variety of local cuisines. It's the perfect opportunity to refuel mid-journey.
Ollantaytambo
The last stop of our day is Ollantaytambo, an ancient town surrounded by impressive ruins. Once a royal estate and fortress, it showcases the remarkable urban planning and engineering skills of the Inca civilization.
Aguas Calientes
Our exploration concludes as we head to the train station to board our train to Aguas Calientes.

The tours were great and we were never alone they made us feel safe and fun. They really care about the experience and clients and accommodating on what you want to do and see in Cusco.

5.00Our 2-week bucket list trip to Machu Picchu ended up being sooo much more because of our expert and professional personal tour guide, Orlando of Inkanto Travel. He helped us determine which tours would be best for us, he was very communicative, he arranged lodging and transportation and entrance fees, he was always on time, and he loved sharing his passion for Cusco, Rainbow Mountain, Machu Picchu, and many other highlights of our trip! 5.00We asked for a city tour of Cusco, a two-day trek in the sacred valley, a 4-day Salkantay trek to finish the visit to Machu Picchu as well as the ascent of Wayna Picchu and another 2-day trek in the mountains of 7 colors, all privatized for two people. Finally, as we were going to get married once back in Switzerland, we asked if it is possible to organize a wedding ceremony by a shaman and Zenaida from Incanto travel agency organized all this with a master, I would say even a magician!!! Thank you to her for the complete organization of our stay on the side of Cusco!!!! It allowed us to realize wonderful dreams!!! And our Elvis Guide with the help of precious collaborators whose cooks, assistants, mule players took us to majestic places 😍😍😍 thank you all!!! Valerie and Philippe 🥰
