We start our 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga by picking you up from the airport, hotel or riad of your choice. We will take breaks along the road to admire the breathtaking landscape that awaits us across the High Atlas Mountains. Additionally, we will cross the Tizi n Tichka, a mountain pass. Its highest point can reach up to 2260 meters, so buckle up. Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, located less than 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate, will be our first destination. It is the most prestigious site in the south. The Kasbah is a typical southern house dating from the 17th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After exploring this village, we will travel to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Africa. The next stop is Kalaat Mgouna, also known as the Pink City, which is famous for its flowers and the annual beauty pageant stages. Night in Dades.

The second day of our 3 day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga. After breakfast, we set off on an adventure into the Todra gorges, where many climbers come to indulge in their favorite activity. After hiking through the Todra Gorge, we continue the journey along the ancient Bedouin trade routes that run along the Middle Atlas, passing a number of fortified communities with stunning pre-Saharan architecture. The magnificent dunes of Merzouga mark the beginning of the enormous Sahara Desert. We leave our car and ride camels for an hour and a half through the desert to a Berber camp, where we watch the sunset and sleep in Berber tents by starlight. After dinner, we gather around the fire to enjoy the desert night while listening to traditional Berber drums.

Merzouga - Alnif - Nkoub - Ourzazate - Marrakech

Marrakech

The next morning, wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast meal while admiring the beautiful sunrise. Then you will reach Marrakech by another road, passing through Alnif, Tazarine, Nkoub and Agdez, then you will continue towards Ouarzazate and take the Tizi n'Tichka through the High Atlas mountains. Arrival late afternoon in Marrakech. Our 3 days from Marrakech to Merzouga ends here.

With a group of friends, we had the chance to live an unforgettable trip to Morocco. We followed a fascinating tour that took us to the Valley of the Roses, Boumalne Dadès, where the landscapes are breathtaking. We then joined Merzouga, where the experience of riding camels on the desert dunes was simply magical. The night spent with the nomads was an idyllic moment, full of authenticity and serenity. We were accompanied by Hassan, Brahim and Moha, who were amazing throughout our stay. They took care of us with exceptional attention, doing everything possible to meet our every expectation and make every moment perfect. It is a journey that I recommend to all, for the beauty of the landscapes, the intensity of encounters and the warm soul of this extraordinary country.

Our itinerary starting from Marrakech through the Atlas, passing through the Valley of Roses, the Dades Gorges to the desert in Merzouga was exciting, surprising and exciting!!! In a week we were able to visit and taste Morocco in all its facets, from local experiences to trekking a little more niche given the winter period. Hassan, Brahim and Mohamed were three ciceroni who were able to manage our group of about twelve people (which is not always obvious with a large group). We completely relied on them in every way and I must say that at the end of our experience, we were all very happy with it. We didn’t have to think about literally anything, which makes the trip an easier and safer way to live the experience, and where the group wanted to change their plans slightly in the last minute everything went for the best with our guides who were able to quickly find an alternative solution. All three have been much more than service, they were our travel companions in an empathic way and especially armed with patience and kindness ALWAYS 🤣 what can I say, I could continue this review at length to explain everything in detail but I end by saying to trust you blindly and book a trip immediately, you will be satisfied! We liked Mohamed’s impeccable service, the comfort of the car, the programming of activities so much that we finally decided to hire him for our entire trip. In addition to the three-day trip from Marakesk, to the Merzouga Desert to Fes, don’t miss the day in the Ourica Valley, visiting Fes, Chefchaouen, Rabat to Casablanca. Excellent tour of the southern part of Morocco from Marrakesh. Beautiful trip for people who want to dive in the culture and in the history of Morocco and its different traditions. Our super-driver Jawed organized perfectly the day with the proper timing so that to see everything as planned and he explained also a lot of things about Morocco and its tradition in such a way to appreciate the Country as much as possible. Always very kind with us , Jawed cleaned the car every day perfectly and drove in a very safe way. We will ask for him as a driver as soon as we return back to Morocco and we can recommend him to all who need a great tour.
