Mara River

Day 1 (L, depending on arriving flight; D) You'll be picked up at your hotel in Mombasa and driven to Moi International Airport where you'll catch a 2-hour flight to Maasai Mara. Depending on the date you're traveling, you'll either catch an 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. flight; once you book, the tour company will confirm the exact flight details. Once you arrive at the Maasai Mara airstrip, you'll be picked up and driven to the hotel to check-in. Please note: If you arrive on the 11 a.m. flight, you will arrive and head to the lodge for lunch; if you arrive on the 1 p.m. flight, you will have lunch on the last day before departure. Around 4 p.m., you'll head out for an evening game drive for two hours. Afterward, you'll head back to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai mara national reserve, home of the wilderbeest migration. Maasai Mara, also known as Masai Mara, and locally simply as The Mara, is a large national game reserve in Narok, Kenya, contiguous with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. It is named in honor of the Maasai people, the ancestral inhabitants of the area, who migrated to the area from the Nile Basin.

Day 2 (B, L, D) After breakfast, you'll head back out for a 6-hour morning game drive and then back to the lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, you'll have the afternoon free to relax and enjoy the scenery, whether it's back in your room, at the pool, or out at the water point. That evening, you'll have another game drive at 4 p.m. for two hours. Dinner and relaxation afterward. You also have the Option of leaving after Breakfast and going for a full day Game drive in the park with a bush picnic Lunch in the park. You will consult and advice with your guide on site.
