If you walk along Jeju Olle Course 19, you will come across Hamdeok Beach, which has an emerald jewel. Hamdeok Beach, located in Hamdeok-ri, Jocheon-eup, Jeju-si, is also called ‘Hamdeok Seoubong Beach’ because of Oreum (Seoubong Peak) standing right next to the beach. It is only 20km away from Jeju Airport, but the moment you arrive here, you feel like you are in another country. The tall palm trees that welcome you from the entrance, the emerald sea that contrasts with the white sand, the clear water and white waves that make even the sand and seaweed transparent are like that. Among the numerous beaches in Jeju Island, if you choose three places with the most beautiful sea color, it is definitely Hyeopjae Beach, Gimnyeong Beach, and Hamdeok Beach. The water is clear and the water depth is shallow, so it is also a good summer resort for families. The west side of the beach is connected by an overpass, so you can experience walking on the sea.
Manjanggul Cave
The total length of Manjanggul Lava Tube is about 7.4km. It is a lava tube that is partially multilayered. The main tunnel’s width is 18m and its height is 23m. It is one of the largest lava tubes in the world. There are many lava tubes in the world, but Manjanggul Lava Tube has a significant meaning in that it was formed thousands of years ago, and it is very well preserved. Due to the sinking of the ceiling, there are 3 entrances. The one that tourists can use is the second entrance and they are only allowed to go as far as 1km into it. There are various cave formations in Lava Tunnel in Manjanggul Lava Tube, such as stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones, lava tubes, lava shelves, and lava rafts. In particular, the lava column that is located at the end of the tourist area is about 7.6m high and is known as the highest lava column in the world. If Manjanggul Cave is closed (on the first Wednesday of every month), Jeju Haenyeo Museum will be offered as an alternative tour
Seongsan Ilchulbong
seongsan illchulbong Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone, a landmark attraction of Jeju, was formed about 5,000 years ago from an eruption of magma on the ocean floor. It is especially famous as a sunrise viewing spot, known to be one of the top ten exquisite sceneries of Jeju Island.Besides viewing the sunrise, Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone is also known to be an excellent trekking spot. The Seongsan-Ojo Trail connects two villages by crossing the peak. Another popular trail, the Jijil Trail, offers a closer look at the UNESCO-designated geopark as well as Jeju’s local culture. Walking along one of these paths is recommended to really experience the area; walking all the way to the summit offers views of both the vast volcanic crater in the center and the blue ocean surrounding the area. To complete your trip, head to Seongsanpo Port to watch haenyeo (female divers) at work.
Seopjikoji
Seopjikoji A short drive from Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak will take you to Cape Seopjikoji. The name comes from the Jeju dialect for a “Cape of Small Land” due to its peculiar cliff formation that protrudes into the ocean. The picturesque harmony of the hill and ocean attract tourists all year round. You might even be able to sight Jeju ponies grazing on the field of grass.Walking northeast along the cliff, you will arrive at Bulgeunoreum Parasitic Cone, offering an exquisite view of a white lighthouse with the dark blue sea in the background. Additional noteworthy attractions of Cape Seopjikoji are the Glasshouse and Yumin Art Gallery, two masterpieces designed by world-renowned architect Ando Tadao. The two buildings blend in remarkably well with the surrounding nature.
Seongeup Folk Village
Seongeup FILK Village The entire village, which preserves the living site of the people of old Jeju, has been designated as an Important Folklore Cultural Heritage. Though it can be considered a folk village of sorts, it differs from regular folk villages in that people still live in it to this day. The village residents act as volunteer guides to offer visitors all sorts of information. The Saw-leaf Zelkova and Japanese hackberry in the center of the village are worth taking time to see.
Sangumburi Crater
Sangumburi Crater differs from the 360 or more parasitic cones of Jeju in that it was not formed when the materials ejected from the eruption stacked.Instead, it is a maar-type parasitic cone that was formed as a crater with a hole in it when many materials were ejected. The inner area is 300,000㎡, while the interior bottom circumference is 756m, and the exterior circumference is 2,070m. Nearly vertical, the crater is approximately 130m tall, making it slightly larger and deeper than Hallasan Mountain. In autumn, when the ridges of Sangumburi Crater are colored gold by waves of silvergrass, the planted cedar becomes the dominate species that take up most of the eastern and western slopes, with Sawtooth oak in the surrounding area. Excluding these lush forests, colonies of Eulalia grass cover large patches of the crater. The colonies of silvergrass make up the representative scenery of Sangumburi Crater during the autumn, a view that is cherished by visitors from all over the world.
Haenyeo Museum
Jeju haenyeo are the strong mothers of Jeju and the spiritual pillars of Jeju residents. Also, the life of the Jeju haenyeo community is a model that humanity should aim for. Jeju haenyeo formed a merit-based community and democratically decided through discussions. She not only cared for the elderly and infirm, such as Halmang Badang and Geseok, and raised funds with her material profits to contribute to society, such as villages and schools. She also came up with various contraptions to coexist with the sea, such as beach sweeping, gold snatching, and dialysis. Jeju haenyeo culture was recognized for its value and was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity on November 30, 2016 (local time).

The hiking trail is made of log stairs, and the floor is laid with wide wooden boards as a measure to prevent soil loss at the summit. At the beginning of the trail, there is a sign that reads "Eoseungsaengak Hiking Trail". The origin of the name Eoseungsaeng came from "the place where the king's horse flies", and there is an interesting legend related to it. A central official was exiled after being falsely accused of treason. This official died here, worrying only about the king and the country, but he said, "I will be reborn and become a horse ridden by the king to support the king." He died without speaking.

For the origin of the name 'Grandma Rock', read the legend below. Not only the visible rocks, but also the life of Jeju people waiting for the people of the sea can be seen. These stone pillars are believed to have been created during a volcanic eruption. A chimney-shaped stone pillar in which the surrounding rocks are eroded by waves and only such strong rocks remain is called a sea stack in scientific terms.

The observation deck built midway along the walking course is a convenient place to rest and enjoy the view. Walk along the Sinchang Windmill Coastal Road and leave with many pleasant memories, and of course a photo or two!
Spirited Garden
Hundreds of bonsai trees are located in a natural garden with volcanic cones and water as motifs. In 2007, in celebration of the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Bonsai Art Center, the name of the garden was officially changed to a garden that was reborn and thought to move forward as a world-class garden. The history of the thinking garden begins in 1963 when Director Seong Beom-young set foot in Jeju and began cultivating the stone-covered, barren land. Yongmeori Beach
The Yongmeori Coast got its name because the beach looks like a dragon that is jumping into the ocean with its head raised (“Yong” means dragon and “Meori” means head in Korean).Yongmeori is a sandstone bed created by layers of sand that have been deposited for tens of millions of years. The mysterious scenery of the coast is enough to make anyone who witnesses it exclaim in wonder. At the foot of the coast is a Hamel Monument. This monument was established by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Korean Foundation on April 1st, 1980 to strengthen the diplomatic ties between Korean and the Netherlands, as well as to commemorate the dedication and hard work of Hendrick Hamel. Ruins of airfields, hangars, and anti-aircraft artillery are scattered throughout, with 15 coastal trenches below the coastal cliff, four or five of which have naturally decomposed and pose falling hazards. It has high preservation value because the cave was built using the shore cliff, and the trenches are located by the seaside to create excellent oceanic view.

My friend recommended reaching out to Mr. Lee Hong Min, but he was fully booked for our desired dates. However, he introduced me to Mr. Jeong, who speaks Chinese, Japanese, and English. Mr. Jeong proved to be patient, explaining key attractions and ensuring a comfortable journey by adjusting to our preferences. He also assisted with translations at restaurants, markets, and attractions, making our experience seamless. One standout aspect was his skill in capturing the best and most beautiful photos. If I return to Jeju, I will undoubtedly choose to travel with them again.

Couldn't recommend Mr Lee enough. We liaised via whatsapp and he was prompt in his replies, as well as providing a list of possible sites we could go with a 3 year old. We left the itinerary flexible with a few must go places, pending on weather. Mr Lee was able to plan on our behalf on the day before, keeping in mind we needed an hour or more mid day nap for our toddler. Mr Lee was mindful to give us some space or privacy if needed, at the same time very kind and engaging towards our toddler. Our toddler loves Mr Lee - always asking us where Mr Lee is, and runs to greet Mr Lee. Jeju was made pleasant by Mr lee's guidance. Language was not a big issue, his written and verbal english is good Thank you Mr Lee for your time!

Mr. Lee Hongmin was our local guide during our family trip to Jeju. We only had to tell him the few places of attractions we had in mind and left the planning to him. The entire trip was well-planned and organised. He is very experienced and he keeps himself updated with the weather conditions and makes plans accordingly. Travelling with 2 young kids is never easy. Lee Hong Min was very patient with our kids' never-ending questions and whinings. Always smiling and answering their questions patiently. Our return flight was 945am in the morning and Mr. Lee was very kind to send us to the airport while he was on his way to work. We are very thankful and touched by this sweet gesture of his. We highly recommend Mr Lee Hongmin if you are looking for a local tour in Jeju!
