Today; our driver guide will pick you up at Entebbe international airport, for a 5-6 hours’ drive to Murchison Falls national park in Masindi district. En-route you may have an optional stopover at Ziwa sanctuary for a one-hour rewarding Rhino tracking. The sanctuary has just got one new birth thus a perfect time to visit. This activity costs an extra 50$ per person (not inclusive of the total price). Have lunch break, before proceeding with the drive to the park; with amazing views of the plantations, hills and busy towns. Check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Murchison Falls National Park
After a very early morning breakfast meal at the lodge, you will cross to the northern sector if you slept in the south for a thrilling 3-4 hour game drive; through the different territories. Though it is not a must to spot the cats, your ranger guide will help identify the different unique flora and fauna in this area and notable mammals. Primates such as baboons and Monkeys. You will see lots of birds including the Egyptian geese, guinea fowls, and many more; and unique plants among others. You will have a delicious bush breakfast meal in the wild, before returning to the lodge for lunch followed by a 2-3 hour Boat cruise and viewing the bubbling Murchison Falls, the most powerful waterfalls on earth with permanent rainbow seen once there is sunlight. During the boat cruise, you enjoy the cool breeze, take photos and the sight of Nile crocodiles, hippos and several aquatic birds among others. From the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful nap.

You will start this day with a loving breakfast meal at the lodge, and then checkout for an amazing 5-6 hour drive to Kampala / Entebbe. You have an option for taking a guided nature walk again, to appreciate Mother Nature more. Proceed to Kampala city, before heading straight away for your departure flight or hotel drop off.

5.00If you are looking for a sign to book with this company, this is it. Stop yscrolling, close your other tabs, and just give them your money. I’ll be honest: I usually have the navigational skills of a pigeon in a paper bag, so I was a little nervous about trekking through Uganda. But from the moment I was picked up, I realized I wasn’t just in a safari vehicle—I was in a rolling sanctuary of professionalism and vibes. The Legend Behind the Wheel Let’s talk about my driver. This man is not just a driver; he is a wizard with a steering wheel. Watching him navigate the local towns was like watching a masterclass in calm. While the rest of the world is a chaotic symphony of boda-bodas and bustling markets, he moved through it all with the grace of a gazelle. I’m pretty sure he could parallel park a Boeing 747 in a narrow alleyway without breaking a sweat. Safety & Polite Vibes As a traveler, "safety" is usually my middle name (well, actually it's "Anxious," but "Safety" sounds cooler). I have never felt more looked after. He was incredibly polite, professional, and had this uncanny ability to make me feel like I was traveling with a long-lost best friend who also happened to be a high-level bodyguard. The "Above and Beyond" King He didn't just drive; he accommodated every single one of my needs—and I’ll admit, I’m not always the "low-maintenance" traveler I think I am. • Need a specific snack? He found it. • Need to stop for the 14th photo of a tree? He’s already pulling over with a smile. • Need to know the history of a random village? He’s basically a walking encyclopedia. The Verdict This company is the real deal. They are trustworthy, organized, and they clearly employ the best humans in the business. If you want a trip where you can actually relax while someone else handles the chaos of the road with a smile, book them. Pro Tip: Ask for my driver. 5.00We had a 3 day safari at Murchison falls national park. This was a great trip and we were amazed by the animals and the falls. This trip also included ziwa rhino sanctuary which was really great too. Our guide was very accommodating and did his best for us to too see everything- lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, giraffes, etc etc . The lodges were basic but clean and food was nice. Everything was organised by our guide so all we had to do was enjoy. Thanks again, would recommend.

5.00What an amazing experience and the highlight of my Africa trip. George was a fantastic guide. He picked me up in Rwanda and we went to Uganda to see the gorillas. Everything was perfectly planned, communicated, and went great. I felt safe, had fun, and I will never forget this journey. I will 100% recommend this tour to anyone interested in a gorilla trek.

5.00We just finished a 3 Days Private Safari in Murchison Falls National Park; Standard Safaris arranged everything from the beginning to the end. We enjoyed Game drives; boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls; visiting the top of Murchison Falls and trekking with the Rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Coleb organised everything and was always quick to respond to various questions.
