Murchison Falls National Park

Today; our driver guide will pick you up at Entebbe international airport, for a 5-6 hours’ drive to Murchison Falls national park in Masindi district. En-route you may have an optional stopover at Ziwa sanctuary for a one-hour rewarding Rhino tracking. The sanctuary has just got one new birth thus a perfect time to visit. This activity costs an extra 50$ per person (not inclusive of the total price). Have lunch break, before proceeding with the drive to the park; with amazing views of the plantations, hills and busy towns. Check-in to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Murchison Falls National Park

After a very early morning breakfast meal at the lodge, you will cross to the northern sector if you slept in the south for a thrilling 3-4 hour game drive; through the different territories. Though it is not a must to spot the cats, your ranger guide will help identify the different unique flora and fauna in this area and notable mammals. Primates such as baboons and Monkeys. You will see lots of birds including the Egyptian geese, guinea fowls, and many more; and unique plants among others. You will have a delicious bush breakfast meal in the wild, before returning to the lodge for lunch followed by a 2-3 hour Boat cruise and viewing the bubbling Murchison Falls, the most powerful waterfalls on earth with permanent rainbow seen once there is sunlight. During the boat cruise, you enjoy the cool breeze, take photos and the sight of Nile crocodiles, hippos and several aquatic birds among others. From the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful nap.

Kampala

You will start this day with a loving breakfast meal at the lodge, and then checkout for an amazing 5-6 hour drive to Kampala / Entebbe. You have an option for taking a guided nature walk again, to appreciate Mother Nature more. Proceed to Kampala city, before heading straight away for your departure flight or hotel drop off.
