Our guides will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala for a scenic drive in the morning. We will stop for art and crafts viewing as well as photos at the Equator before continuing through villages surrounded by cultivated land until we reach the lush green tea estates. As we approach the escarpment, you will be treated to breathtaking views of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Depending on the timing, you will have lunch either along the way or at Tembo Safari Lodge. After checking into Tembo Safari Lodge which is a budget lodge outside Queen Elizabeth National Park, if time permits, you can take a walk to explore the nearby village and crater lake. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the stunning views from the lodge.

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a game drive at 7:00am within the park. During this game drive, you can expect to see the famous Big Five and elephants, lions, and other mammals such as giant forest hogs, bushbucks, kobs, hyenas and waterbucks. In the afternoon, around 3:00pm, prepare for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise provides an opportunity to observe large numbers of elephants, hippos, buffalo and crocodiles. Additionally, you may spot various bird species, including the rare shoebill. After the boat tour, you will enjoy a brief evening game drive before being transferred back to Tembo Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You are expected to arrive late evening, and we will drop you off at your hotel.
