Solitaire

Drive from windhoek to solitaire and do a stop over for lunch. Travelers visiting Solitaire, here visitors can explore a fascinating collection of vintage cars seen around the place, providing a perfect photo opportunities. Also, a chance to stretch our legs and indulge in a slice of the world-famous apple pie at the bakery before arriving later to Sossusvlei.

Dune 45

This is day 2, a quiet and peaceful morning in Sossusvlei. We will have our breakfast packed as takeaway and drive to the dunes for an early golden sunrise experience, and have a short stop over at the most iconic Dune 45, a towering sand dune famed for its striking red-orange hues grateful curves. After Dune 45, we will continue our drive for about 55km to Big Daddy dune. Upon arriving at Big Daddy Dune, we will climb the dune all the way to the top or half way to the top and descent down within the Deadvlei. This is an opportunity to explore the most iconic large expanse of bleached cracked clay and skeletal camel thorn trees, contrasting with a backdrop of huge dunes with their ever changing colours before driving back to the lodge.

This is still day 2. After having our lunch at the lodge. we will drive to Sesreim Canyon and delve into a fascinating natural wonders carved by centuries of water erosion. We will walk through the narrow shaded canyon walls and uncover layers of historical weathered solid rough rocks, with a chance to spot birds and learn more about some of the desert adapted small fauna and flora of the Namib desert. After visiting Sesreim Canyon, we will then drive back to the lodge for dinner.

Windhoek

This is day 3, our final day of the tour. After our morning breakfast we will drive back to Windhoek. Thank you for booking with Us!
