The Bund (Wai Tan)
Pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Shanghai at 9:00A.M. Then you wil go to visit The Bund. It's the most popular attraction in Shanghai. The Bund is a waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on a section of Zhongshan East No.1 road. The promenade allows a close-up view of the beautiful old colonial buildings in the former Shanghai International Settlement. One side of the Huangpu River is high tech futuristic high-risers; on the other side is the 19th century colonial decadent architecture. On the Bund, you can get the best views of the Pudong Skyline with all the mordern magetall skyscapers in the Pudong area. You can also get the best pictures for Oriental Pearl Tower here as well. The Bund is beautiful day and night.
Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)
It's the alernative choice place for getting a panoramic view of Shanghai from the top of a tall building. You could choose to do either Shanghai Tower or this one. This tower is an iconic landmark and it's one of the most pupular attractions in Shanghai. The best picture of Oriental Pearl Tower that you can get is when you see it and take the picture on the Bund.
Bund International Architecture Exhibition
The buildings are western architecture and have been kept in excellent working condition by the chinese government. There are more than 50 buildings on the west bank of Huangpu River. Peace hotel is the highlight.
Riverside Promenade (Bingjiang Da Dao)
Take a stroll on the waterfront Promenade on the Bund is a must in Shanghai. The waterfront Promenade provides the best view of the "old" part of Shanghai with colonial Europian architectures on the close side, and the "new" part of Shanghai with Chinese ultra morden architectures on the far side of the river. You could see the architectural contrast between the new and old.

Shanghai Tower

Shanghai Tower have the world's highest observation deck (1,844 feet tall or 562 meters). Visitors could see the other megatall skyscapers are below them and become small when they standing at the top of Shanghai Tower. Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China, the 3rd tallest building in the world. It have 128 stories, 2,073 feet tall (632 meters). However, the good views can only been seen in clear days. If it's a big misty or foggy day, you'd better to save it for another day.
Shanghai World Financial Center
This place is very close to Shanghai Tower, and it's not far from the Oriental Pearl Tower as well. Actally, you are not just passing by it. If you choose to visit Shanghai Tower, you will walk in front of this tall building and take a great close-up picture of it.
Old Town (Nanshi)
Fantastic old buildings and great shopping with food places that line the laneways underneath old historic buildings. People can get plenty of food, drinks, clothes and souvenirs here.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan)
Yu Garden presents exquisite examples of traditional landscaping. The classical garden’s design with its intricate architecture, tranquil ponds, and lush greenery, transported visitors to a different era. Strolling through the zigzag bridges, rockeries, and pavilions offered a peaceful escape from the urban hustle and bustle. You can see some old Chinese architecture that has been refurbished into shophouses, eateries and souvenir shops.
Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan)
This is a museum focused on ancient Chinese history and art. There are permanent exhibitions of porcelain vase, ancient seals and jades of different sizes and shapes, scrolls, classical Chinese furniture, figurine etc. The paid audio guide for this museum is included in the tour. Longhua Temple
Longhua Temple is a spiritual sacred historical place. It's the oldest and largest temple in Shanghai. Although the temple reconstruced, it still preserves the architectural design of a Song dynasty (960–1279) monastery of the Chan School.

The Propaganda Poster Museum is a small museum tucked away inside a building without much obvious signage. It's a very special fascinating place. It conserved chinese history very well. Former French Concession

Shanghai Railway Station

The Classical Gardens of Suzhou
The Classical Gardens of Suzhou are a group of gardens in the city of Suzhou, in Jiangsu, which have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Classical Gardens of Suzhou date back to the 6th century BCE when the city was founded as the capital of the Wu Kingdom. Inspired by these royal hunting gardens built by the King of the State of Wu, private gardens began emerging around the 4th century and finally reached the climax in the 18th century. Today, more than 50 of these gardens are still in existence. Most of them built by scholars, standardized many of the key features of classical Chinese garden design with constructed landscapes mimicking natural scenery of rocks, hills and rivers with strategically located pavilions and pagodas. Today you will visit a couple of the best classical gardens: Humble Administrator's Garden and Master-of-Nets Garden.

The Humble Administrator’s Garden is the largest and most famous classic garden in Suzhou. Its exquisite beauty, artistic value, and historic significance established the garden, as one of China’s four most famous gardens.
Pingjiang Road
Pingjiang Road, an old traditional commercial street. There are quaint alleys, traditional souvenirs and a picturesque canal with ancient stone bridges. You could get a feel of the old Suzhou and the laid back atmosphere.
Master-of-Nets Garden
The Master of the Nets Garden, along with Suzhou's other gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage listed site. It's a peaceful and tranquil garden. The garden demonstrates Chinese garden designers' adept skills for synthesizing art, nature, and architecture to create unique metaphysical masterpieces. At the end of the tour, take the bullet train back to your hotel in Shanghai.
