The Bund (Wai Tan)
Pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in Shanghai at 9:00A.M. Then you wil go to visit The Bund. It's the most popular attraction in Shanghai. The Bund is a waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on a section of Zhongshan East No.1 road. The promenade allows a close-up view of the beautiful old colonial buildings in the former Shanghai International Settlement. One side of the Huangpu River is high tech futuristic high-risers; on the other side is the 19th century colonial decadent architecture. On the Bund, you can get the best views of the Pudong Skyline with all the mordern magetall skyscapers in the Pudong area. You can also get the best pictures for Oriental Pearl Tower here as well. The Bund is beautiful day and night. In the evening all the buildings light up.
Bund International Architecture Exhibition
The buildings are western architecture and have been kept in excellent working condition by the chinese government. There are more than 50 buildings on the west bank of Huangpu River. Peace hotel is the highlight.

Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China, the 3rd tallest building in the world. It have 128 stories, 2,073 feet tall (632 meters). However, the good views can only been seen in clear days. If it's a big misty or foggy day, you'd better to save it for another day.
Oriental Pearl Tower (Dongfang Mingzhu)
It's the alernative choice place for getting a panoramic view of Shanghai from the top of a tall building. You could choose to do either Shanghai Tower or this one. This tower is an iconic landmark and it's one of the most pupular attractions in Shanghai. The best picture of Oriental Pearl Tower that you can get is when you see it and take the picture on the Bund. You probably already got the picture of Oriental Pearl Tower when you were at the Bund earlier today.
Shanghai World Financial Center
This place is very close to Shanghai Tower, and it's not far from the Oriental Pearl Tower as well. Actally, you are not just passing by it. If you choose to visit Shanghai Tower, you will walk in front of this tall building and take a great close-up picture of it.

Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan)
This is a museum focused on ancient Chinese history and art. There are permanent exhibitions of porcelain vase, ancient seals and jades of different sizes and shapes, scrolls, classical Chinese furniture, figurine etc. The paid audio guide for this museum is included in the tour.
Jade Buddha Temple
It is a Buddhist temple in Shanghai. It was founded in 1882 with two jade Buddha statues imported to Shanghai from Myanmar by sea. These were a sitting Buddha (1.95 meters tall, 3 tons), and a smaller reclining Buddha representing the Buddha's death. The temple now also contains a much larger reclining Buddha made of marble, donated from Singapore.
