Fishing on the drift for mackerel and whitefish! If we cannot find shoals of mackerel or they are not in, we will switch to reef fishing.

You can keep your catch provided any species caught are not protected by law.

We can do a sightseeing tour or fishing on our 3 hour charter. For fishing, we start with some mackerel fishing then switch to some reef and bottom fishing. A fun short trip on which you are sure to bring home your dinner! These trips also run in the evening so are perfect for people working during the day. During the sightseeing charter you will hear a lot of information on the history of Rosses Point and Sligo, visiting some old lighthouses and maybe some seals along the way! Sometimes we are visited by dolphins and other marine life too. We can mix these options to suit you!

We had an amazing trip on Saturday and even if the sea was rough and we couldn't go out to see the dolphins or seals, we had a great time getting to know the history of Sligo, landed on Coney Island which is very nice and cozy; kids enjoyed a bit of "ocean rollercoaster" waves and we will be back for sure! Thank you to our captain for the tour!

Despite showery weather and somewhat rough sea, our boat trip with Daryl was the highlight of our weekend family gathering. Adapted the trip to suit all. Dropped us to Coney and collected us at a time that suited us. Very knowledgeable and pleasant skipper. Looking forward to another trip when we gather again.

We had an amazing 6 hour fishing trip starting at 8.30 am on a bright and sunny May morning. The weather was great but the experience even better. We caught plenty of fish including pollock, mackerel and coley and even managed to reel in a very special Ling and an unusual Ballan Wrasse. Our skipper Daryl was outstanding - friendly, knowledgeable, very helpful and extremely patient. He knew exactly where to take us for the best fishing spots and his enthusiasm made the day even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this trip and hope to be back!!!
