Our meeting point is by the Joakim Rønneberg statue, in front of Ålesund Town Hall in Keiser Wilhelmsgate 11. Look for the smiling guide. To ensure a smooth start, please aim to be there at least 5 minutes before the tour commences.

5.00We joined a small tour totalling 7 adults led by the excellent guide Pietor. We met 5 minutes walk from our Silverseas Ship and spent 3 very enjoyable hours walking around the town centre stopping in 5 different eateries for delicious local cuisine in vibrant local establishments. . He helped the 7 of us mix well and gave insights into local history as we travelled. The walking was easy and was only a small proportion of the time spent on the tour. A highlight of our Norway holiday .

5.00Tried 5 different foods in 5 different places in Alesund, Norway. Explained the foods we were eating plus gave a short history of the town,buildings and Fiords in general. Very personalized. Had his own pictures to explain and show traditions. The guide was very good.
