Spend three hours enjoying the main illuminated landmarks in Beijing. Travel with a private guide in a comfortable van to see the Tiananmen Square, Corner Tower of Forbidden City, the egg-shaped National Theatre, Houhai Hutong, CCTV Tower, National Stadium (Bird's Nest) and National Aquatics Center (Water Cube). According to the turn-on time of the lights, the departure time will be between 17:30 and 18:30. In addition, the itinerary of the scenic spots might be adjusted slightly according to the location of your hotel.

Olympic Park
Your tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at around 18:00. And then a comfortable and capacious chauffeur-driven van will transfer you to the Olympic Park, where you can enjoy the unique night view of the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube, the important venues of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and other landmark structures. They are so incredible in the bright lights.
Tiananmen Square
View the CCTV building and skyscrapers of the Central Business District, admire the floodlit Tiananmen Square, Tiananmen Tower, and the Giant Egg - National Centre for the Performing Arts as you travel past those illuminated landmarks.

5.00The beauty of the ice cube and bird’s nest stands out at night. Appreciated knowing the meaning behind the blue color and red color chosen respectively. Even the opera house with her changing colors is so beautiful. Tried some traditional dishes along the Hutong. Wonderful experience to see Beijing lighten up at night. Thanks to my guide Maggie and driver for the wonderful night tour.

5.00First of all, private tours are the way to go. Yes, they are a bit more expensive, but you have the undivided attention of your guide and the opportunity to learn a lot and to really interact with a local person. If you can, ask for Barry. In two words, Barry Rocks!!!! In more than a few words, Barry is smart, engaging, funny, and very knowledgeable. Fluent English too!! This was my first trip to China and this tour was one of the highlights of my ten day trip. The Forbidden City is stunning at night, as were the Olympic venues. Included was a walk through a hutong.
