Excellent tour guide who was kind knowledgeable helpful and lovely. Would recommend Leah to anyone! She was respectful of the Jewish history even though she is not Jewish and sensitive to how important the history is for all to learn. Loved her!

We had an amazing tour of the Shanghai Jewish Refugee's museum and the Bund. Our tour guide was Lea and she was very knowledgeable and adjusted the tour to our pace and needs. This tour and history were very personal to our family and Lea was very helpful in our effort to learn more. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Shanghai.

Our guide Sunny had a great knowledge of the history of Jewish WW2 refugee migration to China and the support of China for these people. Also her knowledge of all Jewish migration to China over history was enlightening. The Jewish museum is an excellent establishment with interesting information and collections of material and artifacts. Sunny also took us to the local synagogue and memorial park for the Jewish refugees. A visit to the amazing Peace hotel was another highlight. We highly recommend this tour with Sunny who as an ex English teacher had a wonderful ability to answer all of our questions and provide explanations for us.

This tour, and our tour guide Lihan were great. A lot of people stick to touristy things like the city walk, but this experience was so much more interesting and unique. Highly recommend people check out this lesser known part of Shanghai history.

We enjoyed this tour and learned a lot - we highly recommend it. Shanghai is a beautiful city, and this tour covers an interesting slice of its history in the 1930s-1940s that most people don’t know about. Our tour guide Annie met us at our hotel, took us to the important Jewish sites from that time in the neighborhood, and then pointed out the highlights as we went through the Jewish Refugee Museum together and gave us wonderful background on the exhibits. She is very knowledgeable and friendly, with excellent English. Annie also did a great job showing and telling us about the early areas the British settled in and then walking down The Bund with us. She adjusted well to our pace and interests. Finally, she helped out by calling a taxi for us at the end after the tour, since we hadn’t figured out DiDi Taxi yet. Annie arranged and paid for the taxis on the tour itself. Sunny was easy to work with to arrange the tour and answer questions. I’ve already recommended this tour to a friend!

A very worthwhile tour of Jewish Shanghai made only better by Sunny’s insights and knowledge. The Jewish Refugee Museum is a must and represents an era that very few people know about.
