The experience of exploring Madeira with Adventure Trikes is an experience not to be missed!
You have open views from all angles, experiencing the different micro-climates as we climb to contrasting heights.

Time permitting we stop for free Madeira Wine Tasting.
You can also try the local Poncha at Câmara de Lobos (fishing village). Our professional Guides will also take photos at all the different points and end of the tour they will be sent to you.

Valley of the Nuns
Our Guide will pick you up at any Hotel or Port in Funchal. He will explain all the different option you will have in our 3 hours Private Tour. We can ride for 45min to a Heights of 1089 meters above sea level, to the view point of Nuns Valley where speculation as it that its one of the craters of the Vulcano. Also know for its chestnuts. We also go into Nuns Valley where we experience these beautiful views from inside the crater. For beer drinkers if you want to stop and try a chestnut beer?

5.00We' ve visited Madeira multiple times but always see something new on a trike tour. John took us on an exhilarating ride around the East Side of the island through villages and scenery we had never seen before. He even managed to avoid the rain! Last stop the rum factory which was fascinating. Great day out, would highly recommend. Jen and Barry

5.00The Private Trike Tour with John was AMAZING! We got to travel to several viewpoints and learn more about Madeira's history and culture. The ride was comfortable and SO fun. Highly recommend this experience. Truly unforgettable!

5.00What a buzz! Roaring around the windy Madeira roads was great fun. Our driver John found the sun for us on a rainy day, so we went from winter Funchal to summer on the eastern part of the island. Well done John! With broad smiles from everyone who saw us, we really enjoyed the tour. We always felt safe and John made sure we were warm and dry. Highly recommended for all!

5.00John was the perfect guide, extremely knowledgeable and attentive to your needs. Our trip was tailored to suit us as we had already visited a few of the main attractions/villages. We spent our whole time in the Nun’s Valley seeing it from every angle - top to bottom. We also got to meet a gentleman who was still working his terraced land at the age of 85, incredible. En route we came across a huge boulder that had fallen this morning, blocking one side of the road, and by all accounts had fallen just after the local bus passed through. All in all this was a very memorable afternoon and we can’t recommend John and Adventure Trikes highly enough.

5.00After looking at what things were available in Madeira we decided to try something different. Well we can say we definitely made the right choice. Our driver (John) was polite, informative and kept us informed at all times. The experience of riding in a trike was exhilarating and throughly enjoyable and would highly recommend to everyone, regardless of age, even if your sceptical about going on a bike. The ride was very comfortable and all equipment was provided or offered.
Super fun on the Trike with Jon despite our mobility issues ❤️ and, never having even been on a motorbike before!

5.00Super fun on the Trike with Jon who was kind, thoughtful, full of interesting information about the island and more than happy to accommodate our lack of mobility. Even served us our coffee on the Trike. A lovely touch, thank you Jon. Helmets and jackets provided so we were warm and secure on the Trike. Wow, a very memorable and fun experience, can’t wait to go out again!
