You will admire the majestic Colosseum and we talk about gladiatorial battles, the history of their origin, and how the greatest arena in history was built in just 8 years. We will see the most picturesque view of the Colosseum, hidden from most tourists. You will feel like an ancient Roman spectator, teleporting back 2000 years. It is an indescribable emotion! Note: We will not go inside the Colosseum.
Circo Massimo
You will see the largest arena of the ancient period, designed for chariot races, accommodating 250,000 spectators, located on the slopes of the two Roman hills - Palatine and Aventine, as well as the imperial palace on Palatine Hill, from which the emperor himself watched the race. The chariot races had not only the function of entertainment but also had an important aspect of socialization and propaganda of power. This is why the horse-racing arenas were much larger than the amphitheaters.
