We offer you the opportunity to live this unique experience in one morning, so you can dedicate the other remaining hours of the day to other activities on the island at your leisure.
The great thing about this experience is that it is suitable for any age group, from 0 to 99 years old. To access the boat you have to take 2 steps, so everyone will be able to access it even those who have mild back or leg problems. The boat ride takes only 8 minutes. Once you arrive you will be able to go down to the sea with a height of 150 cm then you will touch. You will interact with these fantastic animals in their natural habitat, it is not a zoo or a circus, so the whole thing is in full respect for the animal.

Transfer from the meeting point with a van to reach the village of Seatons where we take the boat to reach the sandbank in the middle of the sea where we will meet the stingrays.
Stingray City
If you are going to live the most unforgettable experience in Antigua, Stingray City is the one for you. We will reach by land the starting point of the boat that in 8 minutes will take us in the middle of the sea where the meeting with the friendly Stingray will take place. It will not be necessary to know how to swim because you touch the bottom of the sea and there will be direct contact with this friendly animal. This is not a zoo or circus! Stingrays are free in their natural habitat.

1.00We booked this trip but it didn't actually happen. We waited at the arranged taxi pick-up point for 35 minutes, then contacted the company to ask where our taxi was. Ten minutes later we had a reply to say the taxi driver had been delayed because of a traffic accident and we had missed our slot with the sting rays. They offered us an alternative day which we can't do. So we wasted an hour waiting in the heat for a trip they knew we couldn't do. We should have been told of the taxi delay and that the trip couldn't happen, not left waiting. Very disappointing service, would not use again.

1.00So we had booked a half day tour to see the stingrays. We had a text to say meet at the Antigua exotica shop at 7:45am. We arrived on time but no sign of the operator - we waited road side as compared to dockside as we knew we were going by bus and there were loads of buses roadside. Apparently the operator was dockside and left without us. A lovely taxi operator made some calls to the Stingray centre who did their utmost to accommodate us and the taxi got us there. Communication was difficult as all the numbers we had didn’t work and the taxi driver confirmed they weren’t Antigua numbers. The operator messaged us but we didn’t get it - something to do with our roaming. We caught up with the group but as a result only got 10 minutes out of 45 minutes with the stingrays for £200!!! We were told by the operator that she did a circuit of the building and we weren’t there. On the mini bus back we were told. Y fellow tour participants (who we don’t know) that she didn’t go around the building but left after their final message. I get this was a misunderstanding but to be told you weren’t there when you were and that the instructions were not specific to say meet harbour side of the shop and effectively be called a liar is poor!! The operator was Antigua Chiama Italia - I would think long and hard about using them - this is the first time ever in over 35 years of travel I have been left after so called thorough checks before the operator left - checks that others say were simply not done!!!

5.00This was an amazing tour—from pick up to drop off! Our driver met us on time and the vehicle was in great, safe condition. Once we got to Stingray City, check in was easy, bathrooms were clean, and instructions for how to interact with the animals was clear. My little one was afraid to be in the water with the rays, so a guide (I think his name was Randy?) literally carried her around for 15-20 minutes so she could view fish on coral instead and just see the rays from a short distance. I also noticed Randy carrying people back and forth from the boat to the shallows through some deeper water to ensure everyone got to experience the beautiful stingrays and enjoy themselves—these guides really worked hard to make sure everyone had a good experience. Back at shore, rum punch and fruit punch awaited us and our driver had snacks and certificates of participation for us! We were extremely happy with this tour and the hardworking, considerate people who run Stingray City and the transports. Highly recommend, and I hope you get to work with the people we did because they made our day!

5.00Andrew our driver was awesome 🤩 he was very knowledgable and efficient and made life very easy. The stingrays are so friendly and swim past you so gently, really worth doing this if it’s the only thing you do:)
