Explore the exhilarating world of kiteboarding with private instruction set against the stunning backdrop of Long Bay's shallow, turquoise waters.

Boasting over a decade of teaching experience in this idyllic location, and the easiest place in the world to master this thrilling sport.

The 3-hour beginner lesson starts with a 30-minute session on the beach learning wind theory and basic kite setup. The next 2.5 hours will be spent in the shallow sea practicing kite control. The students will then progress to getting on the board for their first rides. This is the only place in the world where conditions make such fast progress possible.

Our seasoned instructors are dedicated to providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment. The added convenience of jetski support ensures your safety throughout the session and allows us to be as efficient as possible with your time.

Wear a swimsuit and sunscreen (or rashguard); all other equipment is provided for you since this course is specifically designed for beginners. The lesson covers the fundamentals of kite control and allows students to get on the board for their first rides in just three hours. The first 20 minutes are spent on the beach, covering safety and kite setup. The remainder 2.5 hours are spent in the warm turquoise water of Long Bay, practicing kite control and getting up for your first rides. The instructor will be with you the entire time assisting and providing feedback. We also provide jet ski assistance to bring students upwind and away from the shore. We can arrange kiteboarding lessons for your group (2-3 students per instructor) as well - please contact us for more information. Lesson times vary daily according to conditions and tide schedule.

I am a beginner and I had a kite surfing lesson with Hunter. He was a super guide. He is really patient and was very helpful. The TCK people were super nice and very easy to work with. If you are looking for some lessons or to rent some kite surfing equipment I totally recommend them.

TCK is a very polished kite surfing school. I am a beginner to kite surfing and had a fantastic experience with the 9-hour lessons. From the start, they were very communicative about the plan for my lessons and clearly explained how the schedule would shift based on the tide and wind, which made me feel confident I was getting the best possible conditions for learning and my level of experience. Hunter was my instructor and was absolutely outstanding, breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand and, more importantly, easy to put into action on the water as a true beginner, and his calm, clear coaching style helped me progress much faster than I expected. I also met Sarah, she was great to work with and drove us out on the water via jet ski - the entire TCK team was incredibly friendly, professional, and flexible with my schedule, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. TCK offers very good value for money given the quality of instruction and the extensive experience their team has in both kite surfing and coaching, and I would absolutely recommend TCK to any friends or first-timers looking to learn kite surfing in Turks and Caicos.

TCK did a great job teaching my 3 kids how to kite board. Fun experience that catered to their different styles. All 3 were up and riding on the second day!

TCK (Sarah and Hunter) is definitely a very friendly, top notch outfit. All of their equipment is professional and safe. And to do this in the biggest shallow sport pool is the best! Can't say enough about my instructor, Wes. He has lots of experience, knows his stuff and can teach it to where you feel comfortable and safe. (Along with some enjoyable one line humor). This private lesson for my 62nd birthday was very enjoyable, rewarding and I'll never forget it! Many thanks, TCK! Joe K OH_ _

TCK provided an incredible experience. Easy to book over email/whatsapp. They take credit card. Flexible on timing, etc. My instructor Wes was amazing. Super knowledgeable, nice, and patient with me. I was up and riding in a little over an hour! Highly recommend kiting with them.

Our group of friends had never attempted kite surfing before and were cautiously optimistic that we’d be successful. The instructor was so patient and we all ended up getting up by the end of the private lesson. Long Bay Beach is a great place to learn as the water is so shallow. We would all highly recommend TCK for an incredible day on the water!

I came to the island with my friend who was just learning to kiteboard. She took the beginner lesson with Sarah and did very well with her progress. The instructor was a perfect fit for my friend, and it was super cool to see the instructor jumping around and cheering my friend on when she made her first runs after successful water starts. And off the water, she was super helpful as well! The jetski support was also great!

This is the absolute best place to learn kiteboarding on the island! It’s in just the right spot with shallow water to make learning easy, and the jet skis and equipment to maximize your time. Hunter and his team are true masters at what they do— patient, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun. If you want the perfect experience learning something new while enjoying the beach, look no further!

Had an excellent lesson! Hunter and his team really went above and beyond to make my first kiteboarding experience a lot of fun and gave a lot of great instruction. I’d definitely recommend for first time beginners!
