Tangier Casbah
Tangier Kasbah (fortress) is a historic fortified citadel built on the highest point of the city, offering panoramic views over Gibraltar strait and the Medina (old city). It was occupied by the Portuguese for 190 years 14-17th centuries, then British for a short time 22 years in 17th century, the Kasbah was one of the most strategic points of Tangier and Morocco. This is where we’ll enjoy all historic walls and alleyways and have some breathtaking photos opportunities.

5.00Tangier is the city to learn from the people. Saeed was the great guidance to understand the city. He is very knowledgeable, running smoothly for every single details. We have a little questions about city, and he answered perfectly with a bit of humour. Tangier has a lot of hidden gem so it was perfect strolling with him.

5.00It is rare for me to do a long, 6 hour tour, and enjoy it all, but Said is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever met. He made every minute so engaging, catering to exactly what we like, giving us a high level overview of the culture and history as well as using his extensive connections to take us into assuming places to show us glimpses of local life. Will never forget tangier after this experience.

5.00Saeed was a fantastic host of Tangier as he guided us through places of historic and cultural significance. Saeed was warm and knowledgeable and took great photos too! He was able to tailor the tour to meet our needs and interests. Even after the tour, he offered to be contactable on WhatsApp and helped us arrange a driver for other trips we wanted to do. We highly recommend this tour with Saeed!

5.00We had a fantastic day with the guide Said in Tangier. He was incredibly pleasant to be with, spoke fluent English and shared his knowledge of the city and history. He made this day's stay a very pleasant and nice day. He was concerned with what we wanted, and arranged the arrangement according to our wishes. This can be strongly recommended to everyone who is going to visit this beautiful port city in Morocco.

5.00I had booked a walking tour with Saeed, but I had to change the date of my trip to Tangier at the last minute. Saeed was not available on the new date but arranged a tour with his coworker Soukaina, and she was fabulous. I had such a great time walking around Tangier with her and seeing the city through her eyes - it was like hanging out with a friend for the day. She seemed to know people everywhere, and we stopped at a few shops only when I specifically wanted to buy things. And while I didn't get to meet Saeed, he still arranged for a taxi from the ferry port to my hotel and gave me restaurant recommendations near my hotel. I will definitely reach out again if I'm back in Tangier!

5.00We arrived in Tangier with almost no planning and very little time. On a whim, I reached out to Said Madani just 24 hours in advance, not expecting a miracle. To my surprise, he responded almost instantly, coordinated a hotel pickup, and crafted a perfect 4-hour itinerary. Said exudes warmth and hospitality from the moment you meet him. We navigated the winding alleys of the Kasbah and Medina while he provided rich historical context. What truly set Said apart, however, was his intuition. When I mentioned my Jewish heritage, he immediately adapted the tour to include the old Jewish quarter and the synagogue museum. Learning about the history of Muslims and Jews living as neighbors in Tangier was incredibly moving, and I felt that same sense of camaraderie with Said himself. He also took us to vetted local shops that were respectful and low-pressure—a huge plus in a bustling city. If you are in Morocco, do yourself a favor and book Said. He doesn’t just give tours; he creates lifelong memories.
10/10 will be going again!
