An early start this morning is rewarded with an Uluru sunrise as the sun hits the icon like a beacon, before the light floods the surrounding landscape. Your guide will take you to one of the significant cultural sights of Uluru, outlining Anangu rock art and passing on one of the creation stories of the site. While the morning is fresh, the time is yours to enjoy the self-guided, full base walk of Uluru, taking in all of the textures and valleys up-close, which isn’t evident from afar.

Once you’ve had lunch, perhaps purchase some art at the Cultural Centre, hand-crafted by local First Nation Peoples of the Western and Central Deserts.

Kings Canyon
The main attraction of Watarrka National Park is undoubtedly Kings Canyon – a humungous gorge enclosed by sheer rock walls many meters high. With its porous sandstone, deep gullies and hidden rock pools, it provides shelter to more than 600 species of native plants and animals. Your guide will point these out on a trek that takes in the canyon’s most famous locations – the Lost City, the Garden of Eden, Amphitheatre, and ofcourse the North & South Walls of the canyon.

This evening, you have choice to enjoy one of the following optional activities; a Sunset Camel Cruise, the Field of Lights, Sounds of Silence, the Wintjiri Wiru Drone display; or if you’d like to experience the Uluru sunset from a different perspective (and free of charge), tonight is the opportunity to do it!

Depending on your departure time, choose to take our free 10-minute transfer direct to Yulara’s Desert Gardens Hotel, or Uluru Airport (Ayers Rock Airport, airport code: AYQ). If you have plenty of spare time before your flight, so you have the opportunity to leave your luggage at the Desert Gardens Hotel, and spend some time in Yulara Resort shopping at your leisure. Please note: There’s regular free airport shuttles from the Desert Gardens Hotel to the Ayers Rock Airport.

5.00G'day! My boys, aged 8 and 10, and I have just returned from an amazing three-day trip in the Outback with your guide, Wayne. Wayne is a laid-back and confident bloke who has a deep connection to nature and a unique approach to life. His experience in the Outback has made him a true master of survival. He has a natural charm and an easy-going style that makes him relatable. His humour and zest for life are infectious, making it a joy to be around him. This created a sense of safety for us as part of his group. We knew we were in good hands throughout the journey, no matter what might happen. Wayne acted as a mentor, especially for those who were inexperienced in the wild. He generously shares his knowledge and experiences, which is incredibly valuable. I can wholeheartedly recommend everyone to take a trip with Wayne. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

5.00We had so much fun on the entire trip! We started and ended in Yulara, so we did the 3 days/4 nights tour and it was amazing. What surprised me the most is how adaptable the activities were. We were a bit nervous about the long Kings Canyon walk on day 3 of the tour, but when we got there all our options were explained to us and we ended up only doing a part of the big hike, which was just perfect for us! Sleeping under the stars in the Swags was also much more comfortable than i would have thought and such an amazing experience. Our Tourguide Libbi was so much fun and listened to all our concerns and made this trip the best time ever!!

5.00I couldn’t imagine a better trip to the red centre than this! We had so much fun and the tour guide Libbi made the experience even better. She kept a positive attitude and answered every question we had and never forgot her sarcasm!! She really made the experience unforgettable! We did the 3 night tour and would recommend it for every age. It was all welled planned and we were a mixed group of 13 people with a very wide range of age. It is a big yes for me to do that tour and really see all the incredible views! ☀️🤩

5.00I cannot recommend this tour ENOUGH! Wow, you will not regret booking this tour. Such good vibes, laughs, amazing food, excellent insight on the culture and most of all amazing scenery. The swags were a great way of seeing the stars in the night and wet comfortable. Thank you to our amazing guide - Captain Vegemite!
