We do provide snorkeling equipment on all our tours but please feel free to bring along your own mask and snorkel. Not only will you be assured your mask fits your face properly and is comfortable and less likely to have leakage, it will also lower any health associated risks. We find that peace of mind goes a long way.
Things to bring: Face Mask, Dry bag, beach towel, sunscreen, water, snacks, camera
What to wear: Swimwear, loose lightweight clothing, sunglasses, sun hat
Tour is not suitable if you are staying on a private island resort.

Depart on a speedboat for an exciting snorkeling safari. Following a Responsible Snorkeling briefing we will visit three of the best snorkeling points close to Male’. Sites vary dependent on weather and ocean current conditions but may include Coral Garden, Kurumba House Reef and Full Moon Reef. Opportunities to observe turtles, reef sharks, rays and marine life. You never know what is out in the blue.

Ruth was a real professional and found a way to save the day for our group and got us going by 1030am. Really appreciate her determination for delivering value when it's needed. 5.00We had a fabulous snorkeling experience with Secret Paradise Maldives. Our very nice and friendly tourleader and snorkeling guide Kamei picked us up at the cruise jetty on time. With only a group of 8 people in a small, but comfortable boat we went to 3 different snorkel spots. We got to see many different species of colorful fish, sharks, rays and other sea creatures. The water was very clear with high visibility. Kamei took good care of all of us and pointed out the most interesting marine life. As an extra bonus he took some amazing videos, he sent to each of us. Only after each snorkeling the way back in the boat was a bit challenging. The ladder was quite high and the steps not very comfortable. But all the crew were very nice and helped us to get in. I highly recommend Secret Paradise Maldives and would take them for a tour again.

Excellent Maldives Snorkeling boat trip

5.00We booked this activity for our visit on a cruise ship. There were 4 retired couples on board a modern speed boat. We were picked up at the pier by Archie, put into 2 taxis and driven to the boat. A ten minute boat ride got us to the first snorkel spot and provided with mask, fins and floatation vest. We were well prepped as to our dive along a reef edge. There were two guides in the water with us; one leading and the other following. We spotted small sharks, clown, zebra fish and others. After about a half hour we got back into the boat to go to the second site. There we saw rays, eels and other different fish. The third spot was a leisurely drift snorkel along another reef where we just floated in a slow current along the reef to the boat. The boat driver and two divers were very attentive to our various swimming abilities. We all felt very safe, supported and enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it.
