This 7-hour tour which is operating in 365-day including Mondays & National Holidays, take you to the Korean DMZ which is located about an hour away from Seoul.
You will see the Third Tunnel, the DMZ Exhibition Hall, the Dora Observatory and pass by the Unification Village on the way back to Seoul. It will be an educational experience to learn about the Korean War and its history.
The Third Tunnel, Dora Observatory and Unification Village are closed every Mondays & National Holidays.
But you can join the Monday & National Holiday tour which you will visit another places instead such as Jangsan Natural Observatory (you can see North Korea propaganda village), Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge (Suspension Bridge).

The tour departs in time at every meeting point. Please be ready in 10 minutes before.
Visiting the 3rd Tunnel and Gamaksan Heroes Bridge is physically demanding, so it is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, other serious medical issues, or pregnant women.
This tour does not operate on regular safety inspection days(On the first Monday of March, June, September, and December)
**Mondays and National Holidays Itinerary : Imjingak Peace Nuri Park - DMZ Peace Gondola - Jangsan Natural Observatory or Odusan Unification Observatory - Gloster Hill Memorial Park – Heroes Suspension Bridge - Drop off at City Hall Station
**Tuesday to Sunday Itinerary : Imjingak Peace Nuri Park - The 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. - Theater or Exhibition Hall - Dorasan Observatory. –Unification Village - Drop off at City Hall Station
This tour requires a minimum of 5 participants to operate. If the minimum is not met, the tour may be revised, modified, or canceled.
In case of heavy rain, snow, or security restrictions, Gloster Hill Memorial Park and the Heroes' Suspension Bridge may be closed. If this happens, you will visit the Odusan Unification Observatory or the War Memorial of Korea instead.
The itinerary and details may be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances, such as DMZ military schedules, traffic, or weather conditions.
The DMZ is a military zone and may be suddenly closed without prior notice. In such cases, the tour will be adjusted to visit a similar site without prior notification, and refunds will not be provided.

Adjacent to it, Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park offers visitors a chance to reflect on Korea’s history, the ongoing tensions, and hopes for peace. With monuments like the Mangbaedan, a war-damaged steam locomotive, and open spaces dedicated to remembrance and harmony, the area holds strong potential to be designated as an international peace park.

5.00The Monday DMZ tour was a very interesting and worthwhile experience with comfortable transport (modern minivan) and a fantastic guide in the form of Sookhoe- full of knowledge and passion on what is a difficult history. The choice of multiple pick up points was great as I only had to walk 5 minutes for the 7.20am pick up, then we went to a few alternative sites to the norm (on Monday the third tunnel and Dorasan park is closed I think?) Be warned you won’t get close to looking into North Korea if that’s what you want as even on the clear day we were lucky to have, we could just see some sites and the famous tall flag pole through binoculars. However the monuments, small museum and video, viewpoint, gondola ride, British battle tribute and suspension bridge and temple meant there was a varied range of sights to see. Our small tour group of 5 was dropped off at around 3.30pm at the town hall. Would definitely recommend and thanks again to Sookhoe (guide) and Gilbert (driver) for their manner and professionalism.

5.00Sook Hee was the best tour guide. We had a wonderful time. Especially loved the suspension bridge and the temple that was a short hike from there. So peaceful. Recommend this tour for all.

5.00Overall, this was an excellent and well-run tour from start to finish. Sookhoe was an outstanding tour guide with impressive knowledge and a very accommodating approach. Even though the weather impacted some of the views, the depth and quality of the information she shared more than made up for it. Despite many locations being closed on Monday, the alternate stops she selected were just as effective and still made the tour highly worthwhile. Highly recommended.

4.00We had a good introduction to the DMZ, and Sokhee was a great host. Would have liked to come closer to the actual sighting and to experience less touristy stuff though.

5.00I had a great time at the dmz tour trip. The tour guide was nice and informative. I wished it was a little bit longer to fully enjoy and explore the area instead of speed running selfie and photos. The nature is very beautiful, the museum was wonderful and I learned a thing or two, hiked up to the temple shrine and I got to explore the abandoned bunkers and trenches. I will definitely go back to the near mountainous border in the future by myself to see more of it. Thank you 윤숙희, I learned a few things about my country and fulfilled my bucket list as Canadian Korean.

5.00Highly recommend the Monday tour. Locations were quiet and the tour has alternate stops to the other day tours. Sook-hee was our guide and she was very knowledgeable about Korean history and the locations we visited. Sook-her looked after our group and I would highly recommend her as your guide.
