Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. Please ensure that your flight details are provided in advance, as pick-up times are arranged according to your arrival. In the afternoon, you will be collected for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River—pick-up is at 15:30 in winter and 16:00 in summer. Relax and enjoy the tranquil flow of the river with finger foods and an open bar, while spotting birdlife and wildlife along the riverbanks. The experience is perfectly crowned by a breathtaking Zimbabwean sunset.

This tour commences with a departure from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park in Botswana. You will be transferred to the Kazungula border where your Botswana Guide will meet you. From there, you proceed straight to Chobe National Park for a game drive, where you will have the wonderful opportunity to enjoy an abundance of diverse and pristine wildlife. Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided on-board. The morning game drive ends at around 1230hrs, and from then you are taken to a hotel on the riverbank for a delectable lunch. After lunch, you will board a boat for a river cruise and you will spend the morning game viewing along the Chobe River. Thereafter you are taken back to the Kazungula border where you will be met by your Zimbabwean guide for a warm return transfer to Victoria Falls, arriving at approximately 1730 hours.

Pick up from the Hotel is at 0630hrs, organize a packed breakfast with the hotel. Hwange day trip will take you through rural villages with traditional huts to view, rural hospitals, schools, churches and the highlight of the drive will be The Hwange Colliery which exports large amounts of coal across the world. Upon arrival, you will change vehicle to a 4×4 game drive vehicle and an experienced guide will take you for your full day game drive. There are beautiful hides that have been strategically built and they afford one that magnificent view of the Animals and nature magnificent terrain. After the first game drive, you will be taken to a picnic area for Lunch. As the sun heat cools down most animals heard for the water holes and in pursuit of game, we go on our second Game Drive. The best of Game Viewing is towards sunset when the wild tends to flock towards watering holes. Hwange day trip ends around 16:00. After the trip you will be transferred back to Victoria Falls.

On your final day, you will begin with an early pickup for a special sunrise tour of Victoria Falls. You’ll be among the very first to enter the park and witness the majestic waterfalls bathed in the golden glow of the rising sun—a truly unforgettable experience. The tour typically lasts between 2 to 3 hours, depending on your pace, giving you ample time to soak in the breathtaking views and capture lasting memories. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

5.00All of the drivers, Simon, Shelton and Louis were on time and knowledgeable. They gave a lot of information along to way to our destinations. Safaris were high quality and food was delicious. Our hotel Samanzi was incredible. My only complaint is I think information should be given about the Visa process. I bought a single entry and needed a multiple so I ended up spending an additional $90 for 3 more.
Highly recommend this tour.

5.00This trip couldn’t have been better. Our tour guide Simon met us at the airport and took care of us the whole trip. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable about all things concerning Zimbabwe and Botswana. The hike around Victoria Falls was relaxing, no stress and amazing views and wildlife. On the trip to Hwange, Simon explained Zimbabwe cultural life and village/tribal living. Had great wildlife viewing there. The next day Simon took us into Botswana where we met a guide that took us to Chobe. Amazing. Cannot say enough good things about this tour.

5.00Great experience. Cuckoo Safaris was very accommodating when we made changes to our plans. Was able to get amazing pictures of Victoria falls in the helicopter ride and great close up shots in Chobe.

5.00Since the beginning the Cuckoo Safaris was able to adapt to our requests and comeback with some ideas/ajustements to make our trip unforgettable. We did a trip covering Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana and everything runned so smoothly. All staff is incredibly nice and attentive!! If I comeback to I will certainly use their services again.

5.00Our experience with Cuckoo Safaris was great! Everything was on time and organized. Simon and Tatenda were great hosts, so friendly, reliable, and informative. They made sure my vegetarian diet was accommodated and both safari days they organized for us were amazing experiences with great guides. We saw plenty of elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, and lion cubs! The tour was a good value. I would book with them again!

5.00It was an amazing experience we had in Vic Falls, Simon is the best guide ever !! He explained lots of things about the falls and the city itself, he’s experienced and very helpful including assisting us thru the Botswana border on the way to Chobe. Lewis is also very friendly & helpful on our 3rd & 4th day, really helped us enjoying our stays in Zimbabwe. Looking forward to come again
Excellent thanks to Simon, who always wanted to make sure we were getting an experience of a liifetime.

5.00Our favorite experience was our guide Simon who picked us up at Victoria Falls airport. Even though our flight was delayed he remained for us with a welcome sign and our names. We had him for our entire stay. He was prompt, professional and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge of Zimbabwe with us, including himself. We would highly recommend him to anyone taking this package. Cuckoo Safari's should be privileged to have him. One of the best guides we have ever encountered.. We especially enjoyed our orientation by Simon visiting Victoria Falls and getting us through Botwana for an unforgettable Chobe River cruise and our captain Evan. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone
