  We spent five truly unforgettable days with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris, and we can confidently say it surpassed everything we imagined a safari in Africa could be. From the very first interaction, Shedrack demonstrated a rare level of professionalism. Always responsive, detail-oriented, and fully available before, during, and even after the trip, he gave us complete confidence throughout the entire planning process. The organization was flawless: airport pickup in Arusha, seamless logistics between parks, strategic positioning each day, and an itinerary perfectly aligned with the migration season. But what truly elevated this experience was our guide, Jacob. His knowledge of wildlife is exceptional. His ability to detect subtle movements across the savannah, interpret animal behavior, and position us at the right place at the right time resulted in moments we will never forget. In Tarangire, Ndutu, and the Ngorongoro Crater, we witnessed intense and authentic wildlife scenes, big cats in action, raw predator-prey dynamics, nature unfolding exactly as it should. Nothing felt rushed. Every sighting was approached with patience, strategy, and respect. It was also clear how highly respected Jacob is among the other guides. There is a natural, quiet leadership about him that becomes evident through his actions over the course of the safari. The vehicles were impeccable: clean, safe, and fully prepared for long game drives. Every operational detail reflects professionalism and care. Our accommodations were equally outstanding: Under The Shade Safari Lodge in Arusha, Farm of Dreams Lodge, and the mobile camps Olmorijo Camp and Safari Haven Migration Camp, strategically positioned to place us right in the heart of the action in Ndutu. A special mention to the chef at Safari Haven — easily the best food of our entire trip. If you are looking for a serious, experienced company committed to delivering an authentic, high-level safari experience, Meru Slopes is the right choice. This was not just a trip. Their knowledge guides offer exceptional travel experiences.Flexible payment options and excellent accommodation choice . Their safari guide and driver Allan Mawazo received high praise for his services and driving .   A 10-star experience, recommended to be experienced at some point. Meru exceeded expectations (which were already high). Thank you for the treatment received, which could not have been better. Especially to our guide Ezequiel, thank you for showing us Tanzania in this way. Your company has been key and unsurpassed. Also to our chef Rashid for the food prepared. And to Kelvin for the quick and friendly treatment at all times. I hope to repeat it in the future.

  Our tour with Meru Slopes was incredible. Great communication beforehand with prompt response to questions. They picked us up from the airport even though our flight arrived at 2:45 am! Our tour guide Douglas was fantastic. He was very experienced and knowledgeable and overall fun to be around. The food was awesome with hot lunches every day (no boxed lunches for us!). I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to go on safari!

  They made me so happy and it was such an enjoyable experience. Thank you. Tanzania is such a beautiful country. Even the Chemka hot springs were perfect.

  We visited Tanzania for our honeymoon. All of the cottages we stayed in were upscale and clean. I will never forget the wonderful views, especially the hotel we stayed at in Ngorongoro. We were able to see all the Big 5 and so many animals, thanks to our guide Mohamed. We couldn’t speak English so well, but he always talked us kindly.   Thanks to Mr.Mohamed's guidance, we were able to see a lot of animals. Of course the Big Five.The view from the hotel was amazing.It was a wonderful experience.

  We captured an unforgettable African Safari adventure in four days thanks to the skilled and tireless efforts of our tour guide Muhammad. The roads in the Serengeti wre are barely passable in points, but we always felt secure with his superb driving skills... Muhammad asked us right at the start what we wanted to see and delivered on all accounts! He has an uncanny ability to spot and identify animals at distances that are difficult, even with binoculars. So we experienced all the big five, including Black Rhino which are very difficult to find. We also saw herd migrations with thousands of animals. Truly unforgettable. We will never forget this amazing adventure. A special note is that this company does an excellent job communicating through email, etc., so all of our concerns could be answered before the tour started...

  

  

  

  

  

• Most amazing safari

  Mohammed was a fantastic tour guide and driver and "finder" so rolled into one. His driving was safe. He shared a lot of info on the history and the animals and more. And he found all the animals and experiences that we wanted, and more. The whole trip was excellent, even with vehicle issues that are just part of driving along bumpy, pot-hole-filled roads. The accomodations were all different and unique. Farm of Dreams is very high end, the Serengeti spot had lions that you could hear. And Rhino Lodge had Cape Buffalo right outside our window. We saw it all: rhino, hippos, cheetahs teaching the young hire to hunt, lions being unsuccessful in hunting a gazelle. Mohammed used his experience plus communications to get us to the right spots at the right time. I would definitely recommend Meru Slopes Tours and specifically Mohammed.

  Very good organisation! We love the tour and the experience was even better than we expected! We had the guide Douglas - which is really fantastic! His experience of safari, nature and animals make of him the perfect guide! We had a really good time with Meru Sloped. Food was also really good and hotel/lodge well chosen!
