I booked the local distillery tour in Tobermory as you suggested (you never gave a name of the place) and followed your link. I now find that Wolfburn place is in the other end of Scotland. So besides the inconvenience, I would like my £19.50 refunded.

Really excellent trip. Rob, our tour guide clearly cared about his work and had taken time to incorporate a vast store of interesting local and historic information.

This is my tour review Rabbies 9 onr day tour. For some reason it doesn't list the 9 Day Mull, Iona, Skye, and Orkney tour... so I'm writing it here. First, I want to rave about my guide drivers, Trevor and Chris. Absolutely wonderful men. So personable. Fantastic knowledge of all of the sites. They were so much fun. My top Rabbies guides for sure. Along with Sean, who was my 4 day Outlander guide in 2023 and Keith for the Outer Hebrides last year. This was my first tour with van and guide transfers. Chris took us to Orkney, he was so lovely and a gifted storyteller. It was so nice getting to talk with him. The changes went smoothly. We had a really fun group. Orkney was unbelievable. What a little slice of beauty and history. I have such a hard time wrapping my head around it all. Oban, Mull, and Iona were lovely. My only complaint is it needs to be 2 days longer. I'll have to visit them again. This was my 8th tour using Rabbies, I believe. I will be using you again. Please thank the guys for me as well. Cheers.

We'd never taken a tour in the UK before, but the 9 day tour we chose turned out to be a perfect choice for us. There were long walks but nothing too strenuous. Kelly took us to Brodgars Ness, which has since been covered up, to see the dig. Billy was a constant delight. I would recommend Rabbies to anyone wanting tour on small, comfortable coaches with skilled driver/guides.

This was my third tour with Rabbies and I enjoyed it just as much as the previous two. I was solo traveling in Edinburgh for a few days prior and really looked forward to the calm, easy pace of a highlands tour. Andy, our guide, was funny and knowledgeable about the areas we were in, he always had great food recommendations and joined in on many jokes that formed throughout our tour group. Andy ensured that we still had good stops even after a ferry cancellation meant we couldn’t go to Oban. Thoroughly enjoyed the small town of Tobermory, great shops and amazing seafood. One day I took a lovely walk that went past many waterfalls. Iona was beautiful and I enjoyed having time at the Abbey on the island. I do regret taking the boat to Staffa but the captain did warn us that the waters would be very choppy and unlikely to be able to dock and go into Fingal’s Cave. Having more time on Iona would have been great instead of the boat ride but I enjoyed the island all the same. I highly recommend Rabbie’s tours to anyone visiting Scotland and I hope to return to Mull someday!

This was not our first tour with Rabbies and certainly will not be our last. The entire trip, start to finish, was well planned and very educational as well as entertaining. We had an excellent tour guide, Michael, who just made the trip for everyone. Michael set a relaxed atmosphere from the point he picked us up to the time he dropped off in Edinburgh. His knowledge and stories of Scotland and all parts on and around the Isle of Mull kept us amused and also looked out for everyone. The itinerary for this tour was excellent and kept us on the go with activities that suited everyone but left some time to do your own thing. We will definitely be back to Scotland and we will definitely be seeking out another Rabbies tour.

Loved it! We visit family in Scotland quite regularly, but we learned our lesson from last year and so did not go to Edinburgh in August, which is where we started out. We're not saying don't go in August - if you like the hustle and bustle of crowds and festivals, August and Edinburgh are the time and place to be there - but be warned, the August population of Edinburgh is three times its normal 500,000! - restaurants and hotels are jammed and priced accordingly. (And remember that a British Pound is currently $CA1.70!) We prefer the quiet of the countryside and so the quiet bustle of the Edinburgh bus station, the politeness of the Rabbie's Tour guide waiting there to greet us, and the very capable guide/driver was a welcome treat. Did I mention this was our 6th Rabbie's tour? And our second to Mull & Iona? We take a Rabbie's tour every time we travel to Scotland. The tours are reasonably priced, accommodation is pre-booked and worry-free (Rabbie's arranges, you pay the host). The driver/guide is usually quite knowledgeable about the locale and its history and provides a commentary and suitable music for the various stops. As a history teacher, I am frankly impressed by the depth of information some drivers have. Anyway .... all this to say that if you're going to Scotland, take a Rabbie's tour! It will be worth every penny.

Our guide,George, was really wonderful. He kept us entertained and informed In the most delightful way and was attentive to our individual comforts. He was always available to answer questions with a friendly smile. Our fearless driver,Nick, was a most skilled navigator, we were in awe of his ability to safely negotiate the narrow, narrow one lane roads with their frequent passing places. He was also polite, friendly and helpful. We were blessed with warm, dry weather until the final day when it poured. Only downside of our excursion was the hotel in Tobermary, the MishNish. The young people staffing the hotel seemed to be unfamiliar with simple greeting skills and when asked about a light in our room, replied “ it’s broken”. Upon departure no one asked how our stay was or made any of the usual pleasantries one becomes accustomed to at hotels. We heard others in our group make similar comments about the Mishnish staff so it wasn’t just us, if you have mobility issues be sure to ask for a lower floor. The hotel is old so no lift and the 34 stairs from reception to our room were not fun to lug suitcases on. We had frequent stops at interesting spots along the way, such as the town of Oban and the graves at Kilmartin. Much ground is covered and there is some flexibility allowed for special requests
