our journey begins by driving along the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue, Chile’s second-largest lake. Enjoy magnificent views of the Osorno Volcano and the Andes Mountains while learning about the German colonization and agricultural traditions that shaped the region.
Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales
Enter Chile’s oldest national park to visit the famous Petrohue Falls, where crystal-clear turquoise waters rush over black volcanic rock — one of the Lake District’s most iconic natural wonders. A perfect moment for photos and to feel the power of nature up close.
Ensenada
We continue to Ensenada, a peaceful village surrounded by native forest and mountains. Here, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and take in the serene beauty of the Chilean countryside.
Lago Todos Los Santos
Visit Todos los Santos Lake, also known as “Lake of All Saints.” Admire its emerald-green waters, volcanic beaches, and spectacular panoramic views that make it one of the most beautiful places in southern Chile.
Volcan Osorno
Finally, ascend the slopes of the Osorno Volcano to reach its Ski and Mountain Center, where breathtaking views await. You’ll also discover the impressive Laguna Verde and La Burbuja craters before returning to Puerto Varas in the afternoon.

Lago Llanquihue
We begin the journey by driving along the southern shore of Lake Llanquihue, surrounded by lush countryside and postcard views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes. Learn about the German colonization that shaped this picturesque region while enjoying the serene landscapes of Chile’s Lake District.
Arrive at Las Cascadas, where we’ll take a short 2 km trek through native forest to reach one of the most impressive waterfalls in the area — a hidden natural wonder flowing between basalt walls. A perfect moment for photos and to connect with the tranquility of nature.
Puerto Octay
Continue to Puerto Octay, once the most important port on Lake Llanquihue. Discover its charming wooden architecture and quiet atmosphere before stopping for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can savor regional cuisine and views of the lake.
Next, we visit the lovely town of Frutillar, famous for its Musical Weeks Festival, German-inspired gastronomy, and scenic lakeside promenade with views of the snow-capped volcanoes. Stroll through its peaceful streets, visit local craft shops, or enjoy a delicious kuchen (German cake) by the lake.
Puerto Varas
Finally, we’ll return to Puerto Varas, driving along the lake while admiring the green hills, charming countryside, and beautiful views of the Osorno Volcano — the perfect way to end this unforgettable day in Chile’s Lake District.

After breakfast at your hotel, it’s time to say goodbye to the charming city of Puerto Varas. At the scheduled time, our driver will pick you up at your hotel for your transfer to El Tepual Airport in Puerto Montt.
