Windhoek City Cab

As soon as you lands, Discovery Transfer and Tours will pick you up from the Hosea Kutako International Airport. The airport Is 45 km outside Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. It has been a long journey, you will be dropped off at Discovery Guest House. After you have rested, a free township tour will be arranged for the afternoon. Dinner will be at your own expenses at any restaurant of your choice.

Sossusvlei

We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house between 7am and 8am and depart at 8:30am straight on the way south to world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a Stop-over at the view point to appreciate endless view of the Namib. Our lunch at the Solitaire oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning.

Sossusvlei

Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the surreal Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you wish, you can take on climbing one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy’ or ‚Big Mama’. 360 degrees, panoramic views of the ‚Sea of Sand’ are incredible! Sossusvlei and Dead Vlei are considered to be one of the most photogenic and some of the most photographed places on Earth! Along the way, you can perceive occasional wildlife: ostriches, oryx, bat-eared foxes, springboks, possibly cheetah and various birds inhabiting the desert. In the afternoon, time for rest and relaxation in the quiet atmosphere of the Namib.

Windhoek City Cab

Soon after breakfast we will depart to Windhoek through beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. On our way we will stop-over at Solitaire. We will approximately arrive at our destination before lunch. We will drop you off at the hotel/lodge of your choice Farewell, goodbye.
