This is a very regimented tour. You will be up early each day to allow time for the planned stops. The tour guide and driver, Gary were great!

Went with my mom who was visiting Canada for the first time. It was very disappointing that everyone in the group was Chinese, and the tour guide was speaking only in their language, all food stops are meant for them at Cantonese restaurants, the stop at Kelowna was 0% worth it, I have been many times and love the area but this time it was very sad because instead of showing the vineyards and wine country they take people to this warehouse style vineyard and te factory (again, meant for the culture that seems to join them often). I will say, if you are Chinese you will love it. But if you speak a different language skip this. Book with someone else.

It was an amazing and scenic visit to the Rockies with great weather. The tour driver did an excellent job in ensuring the safety of the passengers throughout this tour travel. The tour guide did ok but could improve on the following:a)noted that some information were missing in English unless one understands Mandarin as well - maybe a note for translation will be helpful; b)first night hotel at Sandman Inn was unpleasant due to noise issue, but subsequent hotels were pretty good.;c)as advised by agency to enquire the meal options available via experienced tour guide - We opted for the scheduled meal plan since we had the impression via the tour guide that there may not be any other close eateries nearby the scheduled meal stops. But it turns out to be otherwise, and from our experiences with other several tours their tour guides had suggested eateries near vicinity. With the meal option, First day lunch and the Banff breakfast were very poor; d)Ginseng store tour stop - noted that almost everything was written/spoken in Chinese, and the English speaking guests felt quite lost. Its good to let the shop know that they should also cater to people who understands only English; e)Optional tours - if guests do not participate in your scheduled optional tours, it would have been nice if the tour guide could have suggested other available options (like free & easy). Example - some guests could have been left in town of Banff while others do their optional tour.

Overall we had an enjoyable time, especially with our tour guide, Mr. Daniel Yeung, who was very responsible and responsive to everyone’s needs. I would recommend this tour to family of adults or with older children as this schedule is a bit too rushed for young children. Another major problem we had was that I booked this tour 3 months prior via Viator, however the booking platform/tour company did not reach out to us to provide any information other than letting us know the pick-up time and location. We did not know there were additional fees for meal plans and park tickets, etc until the day before our trip. Additional payment was a hassle to make as we were on our last leg of the trip to Canada and did not have enough cash to pay for everything. Luckily, Daniel was able to help think of a solution otherwise this would’ve put a damper on our trip.

Due to inevitable incident, the JASPER FIRE, two of three most important schedule is cancelled by the tour guide. He claimed that we will get our refund when we reach our local tour CS.. CAD105 admission tickets per person. Unfortunately, the local tour operator does not allow changes to this booking - all sales are final. This is a totally irresponsible act because we have questioned the schedule of tour before we paid and this is definitely a SCAM. They asked you to prepaid to a PARK CLOSE admission tickets without any refund policy. This is the worst experience ever. And the road trip time along the trip is WAY TOO LONG. We are basically sitting on the bus in TWO FULL DAYS with only some toliet stop. This is totally not suggested to anyone who would like to go to banff.
