  I had a safari booked with Rocktrek, but unfortunately, my trip was disrupted at the very last minute due to the sudden closure of airspace and regional security developments. I cannot praise Mr. Silas Lodenyo enough for his professionalism and honesty during this incredibly stressful time. Despite the 'Force Majeure' circumstances, Silas was highly responsive and acted as a true advocate for me. He worked closely with the Sarova Hotels management to ensure that my deposit was not lost, successfully securing a 12-month credit for me to utilize for a future trip. In an industry that can be difficult to navigate during a crisis, Silas showed genuine transparency and integrity. I highly recommend Rocktrek for their excellent communication and commitment to their clients. I look forward to finally going on my safari with them next year!

  We went on a safari to Masai Mara with Rocktrek and had the experience of a lifetime we will never forget, which we will talk about for the rest of our lives. Our driver, Linus, was incredibly knowledgable. We had so much fun with him and he made the experience what it was. He knew all the right spots to see certain animals and covered so much of Masai Mara so we could see the beauty of it. The overwhelming and blissful feeling of our 4 days here left us not wanting to leave! The whole process of booking with Rocktrek was simple from start to finish, and was tailored specifically to our preferences to make the most of our trip to Masai Mara. We would without a doubt book a tour to Masai Mara with Rocktrek again, specifically with Linus as he made us feel welcome, comfortable and went out of his way to ensure we had the most amazing experience.   Our safari adventure was superb! We had a large group with 3 vehicles, and the team from RockTrek led us from Nairobi to Masai Mara, then on several excursions into the reserve where we had amazing views of the animals, from cheetahs to wildebeasts, lions to gazelles, elephants, zebras, and more. The drivers were so knowledgeable and helpful, the vistas breathtaking, and the lodge excellent. I cannot recommend RockTrek enough; when we return with another group next year, we will most certainly be in contact with them again!

  My safari with Rocktrek Safaris was everything I hoped for and more. The guides’ passion for wildlife and storytelling made every drive special. The accommodations were charming and comfortable, with great views. I loved the personalized touches, like sundowners in the bush and visits to local villages arranged by Rocktrek. The whole trip felt safe, smooth, and truly special.

  This was our honeymoon safari in Kenya. And our driver guide was Duncan, he was very active and very friendly. He is a true expert in animals, he had a great sense of timing and took us to the right place at the right time to see the animals. That is why our trip was successful. We had a thrilling moment when we saw a group of cheetahs very close. Of course, we appreciate their service. Seeing the vast wildlife of Kenya is endless. It has increased our curiosity a lot. We will cherish this trip With Rocktrek in our memories for a lifetime.

  We visited Kenya on holiday this August and went on a fantastic safari to Amboseli, Naivasha, Nakuru and Maasai Mara game reserve organised by Rocktrek Safari. Silas organised the entire trip meticulously, paying attention to detail and our requirements. Right from the time we got out of the Nairobi airport to being dropped off at the airport, everything was taken care of efficiently. The company delivered what it promised and made the entire experience very memorable. Alex was our tour guide and companion for the entire trip. Alex knows these places like the back of his hand, and his many years of experience are obvious. He probably did a total of more than 1000 kilometres of driving, and we felt very safe and secure on the road with him driving. His knowledge of the place, its history and the animals is commendable, and he shared it throughout the trip. It sometimes felt like the wildlife communicated their whereabouts to him, which we joked about. The respect he has for the animals and the effort he took not to inconvenience them was the highlight. We got to see the Big Five and the great migration, thanks to him. He did not rush things but planned efficiently in the background, ensuring we completed the proposed itinerary. It is a truly unforgettable experience we will cherish for life. We highly recommend Rocktrek Safaris and will definitely be using their services again.

  Celebrating 25th anniversary, my husband and I came to Kenya on Safari trip. The experience was amazing, what a feeling, something that we will charish forever. Everything was so good organized, the pick at airport, to the lodge, the Game drive with best guide and driver Linus. The accomodation superb, the hospitality, the food was great. We recommend this tour from the bottom of our heart. A special thank you to Silas who mada this possible ❤️❤️❤️.
