Luis was a wonderful guide – I can’t recommend this tour and his services highly enough. He made sure that we stayed on time and packed an amazing itinerary into 4 days! This tour provided a great taste of a little bit of everything – the rain forest, waterfalls, volcanoes, cloud forest - my son’s only “complaint” was that we didn’t schedule enough time to do more, leading him to say “not IF we come back, WHEN we come back to Ecuador, we will do this and that.” This was a special trip for me and my 12 year old son, and Luis went out of his way to make sure that my son was engaged and able to experience side activities that were important to him. All of the hotels were unique and charming, and we were well fed with a variety of tasty food. We drove many hours with Luis and along the way he gave us so much great information, answered any questions (no matter how random), and treated us to memorable experiences. We had several travel difficulties, including a delayed flight, and Luis always responded immediately and was very understanding and kind, which eased our stress immensely. He went above and beyond by arranging for the small local hotel to let us arrive in the wee morning hours, picking us up at the airport hours later than we were supposed to arrive, and safely driving us there on dark winding roads in the misty rain. We took other tours later in our journey in the Galapagos, but we were so spoiled by Luis that none could compare! WHEN we come back to Ecuador, we know who we will call to arrange our activities and encourage anyone to also book with Luis and Ecuador Best Tours.

Seeing the countryside and the vast amount of vegetation at such a high altitude. Observing the native people and learning about their culture. Riding in motorized canoes on the Napa river which was a tributary to the Amazon. Seeing the force and expanse of the river made we wonder about the Amazon itself. Accommodations were great as well as the food. Visiting a native Indian tribe that was only discovered 50 years ago. Walking thro.ugh the jungle to get there and the friendliness of the people. Too many pluses to tell in a few words
