It is also said that before going to 14 years of exile, Lord Rama took a holy dip in the sacred waters of Saryu at this very point. "Ram Ki Paidi" translates to "Ram's stairs" or "Ram's ghats" in English, referring to a series of ghats (steps leading to a riverbank) on the banks of the Saryu River in Ayodhya, India, where devotees take a dip in the holy waters.

Nageshwarnath Temple

This temple is at Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya. The temple of Nageshwarnath is said to have been established by Kush, the son of Rama. Legend is that Kush lost his armlet, while bathing in the Saryu, which was picked up by a Nag-Kanya, who fell in love with him. As she was a devotee of Shiva, Kush erected this temple for her. Even till the times of Vikramaditya the temple was in good shape. The present temple was built in 1750 by the minister of Safdar Jung, named Naval Rai. The festival of Shivratri is celebrated here in a big way, and Shiv Barat procession is taken out during these celebrations which is particularly significant. During the festival time of Mahashivratri the temple receive thousands of devotees.

    What an amazing experience!! Had the best time of our lives..the last four days were the best days of our lives We couldn’t be happier with the VIP services that we got for our darshan at the Ram mandir and the Aarti at the ghat. Everyone had the most amazing time during the boat ride. Kudos to Aman and the team for such amazing arrangements Highly recommended!!!

    I had wonderful experience with my family . The mesmerising Ganga Arti and the boat ride was something I was looking forward to. Apart from that, I really enjoyed the Sarju Ghat Arti and the VIP Darshan to the Ram Mandir , which was specially arranged for us . Two wonderful cities and four memorable days.

    Happy with the tour. The beauty of Indian temples and spirituality has amazed me. I love their dedication towards the lord Rama. My tool was led by Aryan , knowledgeable guy, and well spoken. Recommended . Luckily, I got a VIP entry in the main temple because of my Guide and their team .
