Ghardaia is a province in the desert region of central Algeria, in which the five villages Ghardaia, Melika, Beni Isguen, Bou Noura and El Atteuf are called "M'zab Valley".

It is a very unique and unusual traditional area from an architectural, urban and environmental point of view, and is also registered as a World Heritage Site.
