Condensed schedule

After an early breakfast at your place of stay in Kampala, you embark on the drive to Kidepo Valley National Park 700km from Kampala. But since the 700km might be hard to cover on a single drive, you make a stopover in Kitgum town. The drive to Kitgum takes you through remarkable northern Uganda landscapes including the flat landscapes of Nakasongola, the wildlife outlooks in Karuma Wildlife Reserve especially the Olive Baboons, the views of River Kafu and River Nile among other features. You arrive in Kitgum for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Kidepo Valley National Park
After your awesome breakfast, you connect to Kidepo Valley National Park driving through local homesteads of the Karamojong people and the other tribes. You arrive in the park in the mid-morning, check in at your lodge and relax a little until lunch. In the afternoon and embark on the game drive exploring the park’s extraordinary landscapes including the magical Narus Valley where you stand possibilities of exploring a range of game including the African Elephants, herds of Cape Buffaloes, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer, Jackals and possibly Lions among other species before retiring for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Kidepo Valley National Park
Following a morning cup of coffee, you embark on a thrilling game drive in the savannah stretches of Kidepo Valley National Park intercepted by patches of borassus palm and the rising scenic hills. You explore the beautiful views of the sun shining over the hills of Lomej, the Lotukei Mountains to the north close to the Sudan border, the Morungole range to the southern boundary of the park before the rays strike down to the endless valleys of Kidepo and Narus. You undertake an extensive game drive lasting 3 – 4 hours exploring the natural offerings of Kidepo that have it rank among the best parks of Africa. The possible sights range from lions to leopards, elephants, Buffaloes, Side stripped Jackals, the Burchell’s Zebra, the Eland, the Cheetah found here only in Uganda, Guenther’s dik-dik found here only in East Africa, striped hyaena, aardwolf, caracal, the lesser and greater Kudu, klipspringer, dik-dik, Bright’s gazelle, Chandler’s mountain reedbuck, beisa oryx, African wild dogs, waterbuck Jackson’s hartebeest, black-backed jackal among other species. The extensions to Kidepo Valley rewards you with the sights of Ostriches only found here in the whole of Uganda. Retreat back to the lodge for lessening till lunch and in the afternoon, you embark on the community tour to the Karimojong touch with the Karimajong people at Karenna and Kapedo. Mix up with the nomads greatly known for their nomadic pastoralism. You explore their traditions, the Manyattas, the arts and crafts, the Kraal and the grazing field and traditional performances before retreating to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight
