On day two, you travel through Ifrane, the cedar forests of Azrou, and the Ziz Valley before reaching Merzouga for a camel trek into the Sahara and an overnight stay in a desert camp. Day three takes you from Merzouga to Rissani, the dramatic Todra Gorge, and on to the scenic Dades Valley for the night. On the final day, you follow the Road of 1000 Kasbahs to Ouarzazate, explore the UNESCO site of Aït Ben Haddou, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, and arrive in Marrakech by evening.

After breakfast, we will drive south to Ifrane and Azrou through the Middle Atlas mountains. On the way we will stop at the cedar forests to see the Barbarian Apes in their natural habitat.

We continue towards through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass to Midelt and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through volcanic rock, you’ll see views of the Middle-Atlas plateau and the scenery changing to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia.

After lunch we’ll continue our journey through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, to Merzouga. After a glass of mint tea, we’ll leave our luggage in a safe room then take a camel ride to a Berber camp in the middle of the Erg Chebbi Sad Dunes which are the highest sand dunes in North Africa. The camel trek takes about 1hr 30 min from to the camp where we will set up IN DESERT CAMP for our night in the desert. The tents are well equipped with mattresses, blankets, and cushions. After dinner we will gather around the fire and enjoy the sound of traditional Berber drums under the stars.

In the morning, after breakfast, we will return to the town and meet the driver to for Tinghir and the Todra Gorges and finally arrive in the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and spend the night.
Ouarzazate
For the rest of the day we will return to Ouarzazate through the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. Stop to admire the charming adobe kasbahs and Berber villages that dot the route and the interesting geological formations of the Draa Valley. Dinner and night in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route through the Dades Valley, the way of the thousand Kasbahs, provides numerous photo opportunities. We’ll visit the Roses valley and Skoura village, then continue to Ouarzazat, “the Hollywood of Africa”

Then heading north, detouring along a 30 km track that will take us to the town of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will visit its Kasbah (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting, renowned films such as Gladiator and The Jewel of the Nile have been filmed.
Atlas Mountains View
After lunch in the town Continue We will cross the Great Atlas Mountains again, with their beautiful landscapes. Arrival in Marrakech, transfer to your riad, and end of our services.

Our driver was fantastic: he told us interesting stories, made us feel safe and led us to discover authentic places, off the beaten track. He told us fascinating stories and gave us interesting information about every place we visited, making the experience even richer. It felt like traveling with a local friend who really cared about our comfort and enjoyment. The journey through the Atlas Mountains, the beautiful valleys and the Sahara Desert was breathtaking. Every stop along the way was well-organized, from viewpoints to authentic Berber villages. The night in the desert was magical riding camels at sunset, enjoying traditional food and listening to music under the stars, and waking up to the golden sunrise over the dunes was a dream come true. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and full of character, and the food was delicious throughout the trip. 5.00A very nice tour with a truly kind and reliable guide. The views during the trip are outstanding, and sharing the experience with friends makes it even better. While every aspect of the tour is worthwhile, the experience in the Sahara Desert elevates the journey incredibly. The vast dunes and immense landscapes are just as amazing as I had imagined. Personally, I strongly recommend this experience, especially the camel ride and the quad biking through the desert. And if you're lucky, you might even witness snow, as we did.
