Xiaodanjiang Miao village is about two hours' drive by car from the well house. Xiaodanjiang is surrounded by mountains and rivers, green mountains and bamboo forests, the natural landscape here is incredibly unique. It takes three hours from Xiaodanjiang to Zhenyuan county. Zhenyuan Ancient Town is known as the Venice of the East. Located on the banks of the Wuyang River, it is beautiful and elegant, resembling a water town near Hangzhou or Suzhou. You will stay in the hotel in Zhenyuan for the night. And you will enjoy the beautiful nightview of this town

5.00Mate, this 4-day tour was absolutely unreal. The minority villages were a proper eye-opener—real traditional stuff, not some fake touristy rubbish. Loved the wooden houses and the local performances, really special. Mount Fanjing was the highlight though. The hike's a bit of a slog but the views from the top? Next level. Make sure you chuck on decent shoes and bring a jacket cos it gets freezing up there. Our guide was a legend, really knew his stuff and looked after us. Food was tops too if you're into spicy. Honestly if you're keen on culture and nature, just do it. You won't regret it.
