  We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Long Way Expeditions! Our guide was Tuma (Mr. T) and HIGHLY recommended. He has a wildlife degree, has been completing safaris for over 18 years, and very knowledgeable in all the SAFE, friendly, and clean areas. We were able to see all animals that were on our list AND not have our Land Rover jeep breakdown. I recommend looking into an experienced driver during your safari as the roads are VERY steep, rocky, muddy, and edgy. We saw many other safari companies have their jeep break down due to poor vehicle maintenance, inexperienced drivers, and lack of knowledge in general; leaving those clients stranded. We have ZERO ISSUES and a FANTASTIC WORRY FREE experience. Would DEFINITELY COME BACK! Thanks Anne!

  We enjoyed a superbe safari experience with Long Way Expeditions visiting Nogorgoro, Tarangere and Lake Manyara, thanks to Ann, Abu and our wonderful guide Nathan! Everything went smoothly concerning organization and communication. Our driver and guide Nathan introduced us into the wonders of the African animal world. He knew ALL the animals, their stories and behaviour, including the smallest bird. We had a great time with Nathan, thanks to his knowledge and fine sense for humour. We are happy to have been able to support a locally owned and run Safari company. We made the booking via Lenguka travel (Lemara camp at Nyerere National park) and highly recommend to go and visit this camp and national park also. Great to see how local companies dedicated to sustainable and responsible travel cooperate! Thanks for having us, Ann, Abu, Nathan (and Leepa), Henrike and Thomas9

  The team is a friendly and family community collective that went over and above to create a personal experience which offers all the elements of a dream trip and more During the booking process Anna ensured all my questions, aspirations and budget needs were met. Her communication was always friendly and upon meeting Anna upon arrival, I felt like I was meeting a friend The little details are everything e.g. a welcome pack gift, messages after trips to check-in to collect feedback felt genuine and caring My main guide Nathan was exceptional. He was attentive to my style of exploration and adventure and adapted to this e.g. changing lunch plans so I could explore town life, taking longer at certain destinations because I favored the view/animals How wonderful it felt to have the entire Longway Expeditions team come to the airport to bid me farewell I departed hoping, vowing to return with my family one day, so they could meet the Longway Expedition family and friends team which I class as dear friends, who gave me magic moments that will last a lifetime No words can express my gratitude to Abu, Anna and Nathan

  Attention to details on every stop we made, where we slept, ate, or shop! The Safari exceeded our expectations entirely, great experience! My friends and I had great time from the first day to the last day. We toured Tarangire and Manyara. We were able to tour Arusha City in between too where we stopped at local food places from tandoori chicken joint, samaki makange (fish with vegetable gravy and some local herbs, spices) to nyama choma spots (grilled meat), appetizing breakfast etc! Excellent hotel services, mouth watering picnic meals, AND PROFESSIONAL TOUR GUIDE. It was an incredible experience. We also stopped on the way a couple of times times to support local vendors! We didn't feel rushed at all, or pressured to see animals. Our guide was fantastic. He drove safely and was knowledgeable, and passionate about his job. He was patient and great with the all of us. Also the vehicle was in great condition. We are planning to go back soon for a longer safari!

  My wife and I had a such amazing safari with long way expeditions. We visited Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti parks. We saw wonderful landscapes and found some amazing spots to watch animals. Thank you so much for this experience and for all the information you gave us.

  Amazing safari tour that we organized in last minute. Abu was very reactive and listened to our needs and our wishes. He is very trustfull, interesting and kind. He is very attentive to his customers and makes your safari unforgettable. We still have beautifull memories about the animals and views that we have seen. Abu works with his wife as independant and this makes things such easier. Even if his company is new he has a lot of experience in the safaris. We highly recommend his company !! We will not be disappointed ! (Unfortunately it was not possible to pay by card but we learned that this would change in the future.)
