Step aboard our luxurious 41ft Super-Raft for a fun filled morning on the water. Enjoy the thrill of a raft ride with none of the drawbacks. Our vessel is equipped with tons of seating, shade, and a bathroom! The Kona Explorers speed and agility allows for snorkeling in at least two different snorkeling sites! There's also an excellent chance of seeing marine mammals in route!
Light breakfast, picnic style lunch, island crafted soft drinks and all snorkeling gear are included.
Just bring your towel and a smile!

Experience multiple snorkeling sites along the historical Kona Coast and keep a look out for dolphins, whales and other marine mammals. This raft can take you to farther destinations than other tour operators, as the Super Raft can reach speeds greater than 30 mph. The vessel is one of the most comfortable rafting tours of its class, the 41' raft is equipped with cushioned seating, storage bins, plenty of shade and an onboard restroom. Due to the extreme exposure to Fun & Excitement, we unfortunately cannot welcome those with back and or neck problems, children five years and younger or pregnant women on this tour.

5.00Had a great time on the super raft with Captain Erica, Kyler and Caden! We booked the trip through the Norwegian Cruise Pride of America and it completely blew our expectations away. The ride was so much fun and the crew was super helpful and knowledgeable on the history and area. The amount of wildlife was so cool to see, and for those who are comfortable, it has a crazy drop that you can dive down and swim back up the drop along the coral! Definitely one of the best snorkeling trips we've done in a while and will be back on our next trip.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkel trip on the super raft. The boat holds about 20 people (we had 10 in our group) and it is an inflated raft tube around the perimiter but with a solid floor, so it is very sturdy. Snorkeling at Kona is great, we were at the shore in about 45 feet of very clear water near the airport. Went with my wife who is not a strong swimmer and she appreciated wearing a life jacket and the experience of seeing the underwater wild life. Hawaii fish are so colorful! Captain gave us a thrilling boat ride back in the afternoon swells which we enjoyed.
That was totally wicked!

5.00Fantastic snorkeling trip with awesome crew: Kai, Chris and Adam! The crew was helpful and friendly. They were nice enough to point out cool creatures while snorkeling or let you do your own thing. Perfect group size to get to see a lot and spend maximum time at each location. We had a great time and got to see some pretty amazing sights. Huge shout out for having prescription face masks and helping us find the right set to be able to see clearly underwater without my glasses!

5.00Although I didn’t do any snorkelling ( the rest of the family did), it was an awesome trip. The crew - Kai, Chris and Tupo ( sincere apologies if the is mispelt) were amazing . Very knowledgable, friendly and attentive. Food was really good - granola bars, fruit,turkey salad sandwiches ( butties to us English lol) and a pack of chips ( crisps to us lol) and drinks. Family said the snorkelling was just the best but I did see a pod of dolphins. Such a fantastic experience.

5.00Everything about this excursion was perfect!!! Callum, Erica and Brianna were happy, kind, knowledgeable and so so fun!! The boat ride was smooth when it was supposed to be and super fast and wild when that was the objective. The snorkeling spots were awesome, we saw so many fish and coral, dolphins, sea turtle and even were lucky enough to see a whale shark which is totally not normal so we know how lucky we were!!! The nonalcoholic drinks were yummy and plentiful and so was the food/snacks. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end 10 out of 10 for sure!

5.00Our family of five, including children aged 5 and 10, participated in the tour. Surrounded by friendly staff, we were guided smoothly and safely through breakfast and lunch, and everyone stayed together, creating a sense of unity. The attentive staff made sure to check in with each customer during meal service, which was reassuring. Additionally, when the children were swimming in the ocean and returning to the boat, the staff waited and assisted with everything. This is definitely recommended!! The hamburgers made by the chef were delicious. I think they were even better than those served at a restaurant. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit Kailua-Kona. 5.00Captain Erica, Brianna and Chris were amazing. Captain Erica was great with the boat, music was great and food and drinks were good. The snorkeling was great. Brianna and Chris went out of their way to make us comfortable. We felt safe and enjoyed a variety of fish and spinner dolphins.
