After exploring Osh Bazaar, we'll continue our culinary adventure at a cozy, family-run restaurant known for its exceptional tea brewed in a traditional Russian samovar. Here, you’ll get to taste Kattama bread, a cherished element of Kyrgyz cuisine. Kattama is a crispy, golden brown flatbread made from a simple blend of flour, water, and salt, cooked to perfection on a hot griddle. 5.00I only had one full day in Bishkek. The tour provided a wonderful combination of Bishkek sites and delicious food. Azamat was a brilliant guide - full of interesting stories and anecdotes about Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan. The food was fabulous - go with an empty stomach!!!

5.00Andrey was super guide. He made the excursion perfect for us. Since we had done some of the things originally planned, he was able to alter our tour on the fly and make it great for us. The meal and sights visited were perfect for us.

He was very knowledgeable and if you ask him about his personal life, he was full of surprises, a very impressive fella.

5.00My guide, Azamat was very friendly and informative. The kattama (fried round dough with spring onion) with cream for dipping was a delicious start to the day. I also got to see some of the sites of Bishkek (including the Osh Bazaar), with Azamat providing history and stories along the way. His English was excellent, and I was well entertained. The lunch at a local restaurant was delicious (a beef with noodle dish), and we finished the tour at a restaurant with various sweets and nuts. Talgat, the founder of Datka Travel, was communicating with me before my arrival in Bishkek, and even arranged my airport transfer to my hotel! Datka Travel exceeded my expectations, and they made every aspect of the booking so easy! Thanks to Azamat & Talgat for making my first tour in Kyrgyzstan a great experience!!
