Start the tour visiting the desert of Wadi Rum, called the valley of moon where the movie Lawrence of Arabia. You will have the chance to visit & overnight in its soaring cliffs with its magnificent red colored sandstones. Then travel to the Nabatean Red Rose City of Petra, Roll down to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, the world’s first natural spa. Your tour includes round-trip private transport in leisure vehicle with English-Speaking Driver, four nights of accommodation in your choice of 3, 4, & 5-star hotels; and meals as per program.

Start your day with breakfast at your hotel, travel to the spectacular desert wilderness of Wadi Rum. Sometimes known as the Valley of the Moon for its lunar-like landscapes, this protected region of mountains, dunes, and canyons was where T.E. Lawrence, known as “Lawrence of Arabia” fought alongside the Bedouin locals in World War I. The locals have named many of the sites in Wadi Rum after Lawrence and numerous scenes from the iconic movie, Lawrence of Arabia, were filmed on location here. Besides, the recent well-known movies, Star Wars: The Rise of Sky Walker, and The Martian, filmed by Hollywood super star Matt Damon. Enjoy an exhilarating 2-hour trip by 4x4 local jeep through this majestic place to immerse yourself in its serene beauty and ever-changing colors. Rumble along desert valleys, through narrow gorges and past red dunes and mountains; stop to take photos along the way.

After breakfast, travel to Petra and enjoy a 2-hour tour of this awe-inspiring Nabatean city and UNESCO World Heritage site with a local guide. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Petra was carved into a sandstone gorge more than 2,000 years ago to dominate the trading routes of ancient Arabia and is rightly regarded as the jewel in the crown of Jordan’s historic sites. Walk along the narrow “Siq”, the high-walled fissure in the rocks that winds into the heart of the city. Then, stop in your tracks at your first breathtaking glimpse of the Treasury, known locally as “El-Khazneh” - Petra’s stellar sight. Wonder at its intricate façade and hear how movies such as Indiana Jones, the Transformers, and the Last Crusade were filmed here. Take photos of this glorious monument and then continue your tour. See Petra’s ornate tombs cut into the rock face, and admire the stunning theater that once sat 3,000 spectators.

First, leave your fears at home since Jordan is very safe and the people friendly. Our guide/driver was Mahmoud Issa and we cannot say enough good things about him. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. From Amman Airport we drove down to Petra where we spent the night. The following day we toured Petra with a very knowledgeable local guide that Mahmoud picked out for us. We then went to Wad Rum for the next night at the Sun City Camp where we took a jeep tour of the wadi before dinner. The following day, we headed to the Ma'in hot springs and after a soak went on to the Dead Sea for a dip in the sea and to spend the night. The last day was a visit to Mt. Nebo and Madaba to see the mosaic production and a church with ancient mosaic floors (while we looked in the church, Mahmoud went to a local falafel stand and came back with the best Falafels and shwarma). Sadly, it was our last day with Mahmoud for the following day it was off to the airport to head home.

We loved Jordan....clean, green and safe. Mahmoud our driver made the tour even more special as he was kind, knowledge, generous and a safe driver. Mahmoud even bought us figs, sweets and falafel at his favourite local shops. He allowed us to do things at our pace and rearranged the order of the itinerary to suit our needs. We feel very blessed to have had Mahmoud with us on our journey and highly recommend him to others. The sights and history in Jordan are incredible - Petra and Dead Sea of course were stand outs but we enjoyed all this tour had to offer. Communication in some of the hotels was difficult at times but Mahmoud helped with that too. Some hotels were away from main areas which disappointed us as we could not just walk to enjoy local shops etc. You need more time than one day in Petra. Weather was starting to cool in October which was good. Overall an amazing experience. The local guides were very informative and had good English.

Everything was perfectly organised, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy every moment of beautiful Jordan. We totally recommend our driver Mr. Mazen, who was absolutely fabulous from the moment he picked us up from the airport, to drop off, through Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea etc. Mr Mazen was honest, friendly, knowledgeable, with well spoken English, he was easygoing and accommodating to our personal alteration throughout the tour. Totally recommended a Personalised tour with Zaid travel!
Jordan was epic! I highly recommend this tour.

The trip was extraordinary specially in Petra. It was a dream come true although The hotel in Petra was bad. The room was fair, the food was really bad. Jordanian food is great it was just the food in this vital that was bad. My special thanks to Ahmad who drove me everywhere. He made sure I had water in the car at all times. The was puntual and easy to engage. Thank you Ahmad. The hotel in Amman was great. Their staff super, specially the chef. The hotel in the Dead Sea was great. The tend in Waldi Rum was perfect! It has own bathroom. The meals were great! The staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you all.

Hassan our driver made everythig we wanted happen and went out of his way to organize a very early balloon ride for us, which was a real highlight. He was always early and accomodating and FUN. He sang along in the car with us, laughed with us and was a general delight to be with. He went out of his way to get me medication at the pharmacy, was patient when we were late and reorganized things as needed. 5 start service for sure!

Our guide Ali (Jordanese who lived in Brazil and speaks Portuguese very well) and the driver Khaled (mild, comfortable car, punctual) offered us wonderful days that we missed. Always cordial, they presented to us a Jordan of great cultural, religious and economic differences. We felt safe, welcomed and were treated very well. Thank you to Ali and Mr Khaled who were 1000!
